I’m probably going to delete the app because of this repetitive nonsense but before I do I’d like to know if these are just pure bait questions
Ive got an 2018 i30 with a blown engine to dispose of. Its been a great car, but has collected some scars over the years which i haven't had repaired - a keyed door, some hubcap scrapes and vandal scratches on one window.
The cost of a new engine isn't worth it so we are buying a new (EV) car.
My question is about disposal. Our mechanic - who has always been honest and helpful, is offering to buy it to restore it and use it as an back up at the shop for customers who need something when their car is being fixed. The offer is 2k (including towing it from the front of the house)
Its a low figure but it feels ok and im inclined to say yes (phoning around wreckers etc is not my idea of a good time)
Any thoughts on whether its a decent deal or am I forgoing quite a bit of money?

The central story is a group of college students who summon an entity - a dragon who crosses space/time and fucks with your head, and demands annual tribute.
And there is an investigation into the wtf by shadowy semi govt spooks

What can I say but the stripped down approach with two outstanding musicians makes for different show but a memorable one. Fanclub seats didn’t hurt

This is not to say bad. Its quite a brilliant scenario in most ways. It’s a gripping read and has the power of relentless logic behind it. And is a thoughtful follow to Innsmouth after the raid.
But the material is horrific. Lots of children in peril and an accurate picture of potential violence in a border town awash with high calibre firepower (USA, I’m very fond of you but you’re fucking crazy)
Any after reports out there? Did it end in TPK or simply a massacre of civilians? Love to hear.
Both the night version with lyrics and the day instrumental are sublime.

I get the ghastly experimentation can be the stuff of nightmares ..and the manipulation of information makes for satisfying paranoia for the agents … but I also agree with the argument that overly familiar names become mundane - see ‘Deep Ones’
And tbh Mi-go sounds slightly dated. It just doesn’t resonate.
