I scooped up a couple of Topps Chrome Platinum blasters from a Target restock online and 4 Phoenix basketball blasters from Walmart for $25 each.

Platinum has been brutal to me this year. Still have yet to pull an auto of anyone despite having bought enough blaster to where the odds sheet says I should've pulled 2 by now. My best pull overall has been a Jackson Holliday Green Toile /99. And yes, I realize the odds sheet means I'm not guaranteed anything and have bought some stuff I want set off eBay. Today, the best two cards were a Jorge Posada /299 and Jorbit Vivas /199.

Phoenix was much kinder to me as I pulled a couple of cards I will likely send out for grading eventually after inspecting them closer. A Victor Wembanyama Holo base and Instant Phenom Holo that will come close to covering the 4 blasters.

And before anyone says I should buy singles, I do that too as the second picture are the singles that have come in the mail this week.

Cags Blue Holo /150 arrived today in the mail and picked up the George Brett SSPC rookie at the LCS todsy.

Picked this up off eBayast week amd came today in tge mail. Been wanting autos of each player and glad to score a triple auto for way less than buyimg all 3 individually.

Got the Cags Gold and Witt Stars of the Bight off eBay at decent prices. The Witt Blue Moon Refractor I got for an absolute steal at a card show last weekend as part of a.4 card bundle that included a Victor Wembanyama rookie card as well for $50.

Also helps getting an autograph of the #2 recruit in the 2026 class although I biasedly would've preferred Stokes over Smith. Also glad looking at the checklist that I'll be able to add a couple of more players to my KU

I had a PSA 10 Ja Morant that I had been looking to offload before his prices crash any further. I was able to trade it plus some cash for this beautiful card. I'd been looking for an Embiid auto to add to my collect of former Kansas basketball player autos and this will probably be the nicest auto I add unless I'm fortunate enought to ever add a Wilt auto.

Also picked up the Wemby Mosaic and Shaq Stadium Club rookies in the value boxes at another table along with some baseball stuff.

I was able to trade my PSA 10 Ja Morant Downtown for the Joel Embiid Spectra Gold Prizm Jersey Auto /10. Picked the 4 cards in the second picture for $50. The Bobby Witt Blue Moon Refractor /99 is selling for about $80 alone. The Murakami is a bit of long term bet along with the Wemby Mosaic rookie. Everything but the Wemby and Murakami were PC adds.

Only deal I couldn't make happen was for a 2026 Ken Griffey Jr. Home Field Advantage.

Very happy with the grades on this. If the card was better centered, this might have been a 9/10 grade.

For those who want a to see realistic results from rips and not just big hits, here you go. Best pull was a Matthew Stafford refractor ($40 buyback). I'll probably buy some more Series 2 and Platinum whenever I come across them because I would like to build out the set for Series 2 and Platinum just looks really good. Probably done with Chrome football for now though.

Definitely the most expensive auto I've added so far, but still paid a good price for it so I'm happy.

I don't have Card Ladder or any other paid service to comp cards so I have to go by eBay sold and 130point sales. I'm looking to take this card to some upcoming cards shows in my area to sell or trade for some PC stuff, but struggling with where to price this card based on recent sales and was looking for input. The last 10 sales of this card on 130point have been for $1875, $600, $698, $788, $840, $899, $1299, $840, $635, and $1499. 8 of the sales are from eBay and 2 are from Fanatics Collect and the first 3 prices are fixed price/best offer accepted sales and the other 7 are all auction prices. The average of those 10 sales is just under $1,000 so would that be a fair starting point, or I just did the last 5 sales, that would put the average at $1365.

I'm asking for input on what other people wod use as the starting price point for negotiations with dealers at a show.

It's still paper, but base cards are all holo foil and on a thicker card stock than Flagship or the paper Bowman cards so they feel higher quality than those sets. The blaster was the clear winner for me in terms of quality as the highlight card was the Donovan Mitchell Gold Light Burst Jam Packed /50. Also nice pulling the Flagg, Kon, and VJ rookies immediately.

Overall, I like the set and like the design of the inserts I pulled and will probably buy a little bit more to build the set. I also appreciate that Topps has made Hoops not a bottom tier set this year in terms of card quality.

The one negative (other than price) is that I can easily see a lot of people getting conned on eBay by people passing off base cards as the rainbow foil parallel because the rainbow parallel doesn't photograph well and why I included a close up of the Cade All Star since that's a rainbow parallel. In the picture with all the cards, it's hard to tell the Cade is anything but a base card, but in the last picture you can see the effect better.

Nothing too huge yet, but got my first Red Rookie of a player who's actually a contender to win ROY in Nolan McLean.

Topps sent me an extra Kevin Durant instead of OG Anunoby in my second submission. $5 later on eBay and OG should be here later in this week. The other empty spot is for card number 226 which wasn't included in tge set and why it's only 299 cards instead of 300.
