I used to play Terraria frequently on mobile years ago. Maybe about 8 to 9-ish. However, Terraria mobile at that time had substantial issues with deleting worlds and characters. Overall, I obtained the best gear at the time three or so times. After the third time of all my things getting deleted, I gave up.

I played for a little bit again in January 2021 but then decided to stop. Recently, I’ve taken it up again. However, I have been playing on that same world. What features will I be missing out if I play on my world from January 2021 instead of creating a new world? I’ve already done a good bit of work on it so ideally, I would not like to switch over. They’ve added so many new things that I don’t know what I would be missing. I can always create another world and carry items back-and-forth, but I don’t know if I’m missing information.

I read this fanfiction a while back that had a pretty interesting idea. In hindsight, I just don’t remember. It almost assuredly was a mainstream one. Essentially early in the story, Harry did not have any good memories, and therefore could not make a Petronas.

As such, he invented the inverse. Essentially, it used negative emotions to create the same effect as the dementors which was able to repel them. Another interesting point from the series I believe was the concept of dark magic and light magic being able to balance each other out. For example, if someone was experiencing the effects of dark magic, they could use a light magic spell to counter it.
