It appears that my HVAC is making a hissing sound. It also feels like there cold air leaking from one of the vents from the main into that leads into a room in the house. The sounds stop when the HVAC stops running.

Just moved into a new home to find a some water leakage around a light in the ceiling. I climbed into the attic to check if there was a leak there but didn’t find any water logged around the light. It appears there may have been some leakage in the past.
The area around the light was damp to touch with few drops falling every few seconds. The area around the light in the attic was dry-ish to touch.

How can I identify the root cause and fix the leak around the light?
