Should I give her a call and check on her?

I (26M) met (26F) in a party through a mutual friend and have been on two dates ever since. We have great chemistry and had such a good time that she herself initiated second date. Though she told me she wasn’t feeling at her best and will be on sick leave.

We were supposed to catch up today but obviously couldn’t as she thought its best she stays in bed and doesn’t want to make me sick. Which I understand. I am thinking of calling her tomorrow and check on her and see if she needs anything? Just wondering if its too needy or a bit fast?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

What a chef’s kiss this show is

Might be some spoilers -

I finished this show last week and ever since I can’t wrap my head around that how brilliantly this show has been written.

The writing in S04 ep15-16 is something which makes you realise why you love this show in the first place. I genuinely felt for the first time that Amber was just looking out for House.

The friendship that House and Wilson shared was so much special to watch, the shenanigans that House carries, the little details, dialogue delivery is something which amazes me to the core.

Season 6 the things when he opens up for the first time when he knows this place he has no power, him being vulnerable for a woman who eventually moves to Arizona and yet trying not to ruin the change was one of the peak moments of the show.

Spending the night with Wilson taking care of him, and when Wilson finding out what happened and sees pictures that was such a wholesome moment.

Where he operates a lady stuck under a collapsed building that was such an intense moment that showed why House is House(as a doctor).

The morally Grey moments which often would leave people in biggest dilemma’s (like the dictator, dying husband to donate a kidney to the wife who also cheated on him) he has so much of clarity of thought to what to do, which is why everyone trusts his decisions. As Foreman said” Sadly/Unfortunately House is the most Rationale person I know”.

I will watch this show again but one episode a week because this has become my comfort thing and will always be.

Last but not the least shoutout to all of them who did such a brilliant show a couple of decades back.

Need your help in here

I am more inclined towards spezial as Campus seems a bit chunky and I already own 9060 but would be helpful to have your opinions as to which ones are better in the long run and for comfortable walks.

Thanks so much in advance

Was lucky enough to get these limited edition Air Max

I have always loved these shoes and was able to get these limited edition last Christmas. My favourite work wear now as they go with every pair of shorts that I own.

This has to be the best NB purchase ever

Bought them earlier this year but they’ve been the best NB in terms of comfort and style.

Adidas Campus vs Converse All star platform

Gang, Can you help me select a pair from these two? I need something which I can wear at my work which is super chill and something for long walks every time I am in the city. Not to mention time and again I travel not backpacking but for a week or two exploring cities so something that can scale up the outfits.

When it comes to price, they’re both almost the same.

I am 26M if that helps.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!!

My boy turned 5 yesterday

In the left is the picture of first day when we brought him home, scared and confused and now he is the decision maker of the house lol.

Homelessness is getting out of control in the city

For a very long time, I have been empathetic towards the homeless people but the situation has now reached up to such a level where its even become difficult to take a walk in the city centre at night.

I live next to Vic centre and there are often homeless people sleeping around and using needles, which was ignored for a while. Now they’ve started to openly defecate at the entrance area of my bike parking and it is increasingly becoming such a dangerous issue that you cannot access the area without coming through it.

I have reached out to the management and they’ve blamed this all on the council. How tf is its council’s responsibility if this is your area? The amount of homeless people that I see here is a lot more than what I have seen in other cities and its just sad to see the situation.

I don’t know what to do at the moment and thinking of going to press and proceed for a legal action if doesn’t get resolved.

Another Sunny day in the city

I am honestly loving the summers this time, probably because I spend the least amount of time in my room and always cycling around. Best purchase I made in a while.

Digital Nomad for Spain/Portugal

Hey Everyone,

I am currently working in the UK in project management and thinking of moving when my visa expires instead of renewing it. My company will be open to a remote arrangement and additionally I have got some freelance projects which takes my income to $2000-$2500 monthly.

What are the realistic chances of relocating to Spain/Portugal in this salary and if there are some other factors that I should be considering?

Thanks in advance

I feel mentally drained and so overwhelmed that idk what to do anymore

TW - Mention of Abuse

Hi Everyone, it’s taken me a lot of courage to write this and I am honestly feeling confused about my emotions right now.

I live in a foreign country and flew to my home country in March to see my family. 4 days after landing I got to know that my mother got arrested for some offence which she’ll be under going a trail for. It obviously was very shocking news to all of us especially me as I was the first person she reached out to. I didn’t know how to react and took a while to process and understand everything whilst arranging a lawyer. ( I wouldn’t go into too much of details but it was a very weak case of conspiracy)

She had to spend at least 19-20 days in prison whilst my family and I tried to bail her out. My Dad & my mum are not on talking terms and constantly dealing with all the people with numerous unwanted advices, constant pressure from everyone and my phone always ringing for the updates took a massive toll on my mind. It was at that moment that I felt all alone, trying to reason with everyone whereas they all thought that they knew better. I was supposed to be there for 2 weeks ended up staying there for a month and had to lie to my boss about my mum being in hospital.

Fast forward I came back where I live right now a month ago and ever since I have been back I cannot get that experience out of my head. Those 20 days under so much of pressure and the way everyone reacted has genuinely made me distant from everyone to the point where I don’t feel like talking to my family anymore. I had to ask everyone back home to not contact me for a few days and I will reach out to them whenever I’ll feel better as it started feeling more of an obligation than love.

I understand, it being a difficult situation for everyone but what angers me is not one of those people who constantly pressurised and got themselves over involved into the situation feel sorry including my dad.

He occasionally shows up to my mum’s place and I had to say it to her the other day that if you want to keep any relation with him, I will take a quite exit from this family. He has a history of verbal and physical abuse and It took me a long time to overcome that.

These are just few of the many things that I’ve been feeling and have been going on in my head up the point where these things drain me mentally. My performance at work is getting affected, I don’t feel like socialising anymore fearing I don’t end up hurting anyone and Idk if any of them makes sense and if I’m even being rational at a point where my mum is going through a tough time but I am more concerned about myself.

Your thoughts will be appreciated.

TLDR - Went for a holiday to home country, and mum got arrested for something. Whilst dealing with that whole issue my mental health got affected that it has started to drain me mentally.

Finally got the Jersey Barrel leg trousers

I finally decided to go with the off white colour for these trousers after much contemplation and as most of the people in the sub recommended to go for women’s section as the it fits better. Which I agree, I have picked it up from women’s section and kind of loving it.

The only thing, I am sort of skeptical is the length of the trousers and maybe I am overthinking but do these seem to short or do they fit perfectly?

They do sit on the top of my shoes right now. Any advice will be appreciated.

In summer London is the best place to be!

I have said it before and I’ll say it again, there is something about this city that no matter how hard I try to stay await it keeps bringing me back every 2 weeks.

I have a love and hate relationship, I’ve got my phone nicked, stumbled upon some of the worst scammers in the city and despite that I cannot imagine a month where I do not take a trip down here and do things that make me happy!!
