Each book add opportunities to play outside the “main” settings of Seattle, Germany or Denver (my age is showing I know), but have you ever run campaigns that were untraditional?
Instead of being urban predators they were mercenaries fighting and testing weapons in Libia or South America etc.?
Please tell me of these campaigns how well you felt the lore supported them and if they held the distance.
I’ve completed reading most of the book and am making a character.
I’m a little worried about how high wit and parry would be ideal.
My character is a warden from the Rangers of the North and being someone competent (perhaps too cocky) in combat.
He is traveling to collect tales, tactics and tools to defeat the encroaching Shadow.
For now he has a Keen Long Sword.
Group size maybe 3 players.
The extra Wit skill points at Yule are also attractive.
For such a character with Prowess (Strength) would 8-4-3 be ideal or 6-4-5?
Is parry worth investing in from the beginning (nimble and reinforced shield etc.)
I’m getting back into 5e after years away from the system but i remember Marks really was something that annoyed me. They try to sell hackers as hacking cybereyes in moments but marks prevent that.
Has anyone made rules to do away with marks or convert them somehow? How did it go?
1 - more marks = less penalties (0 marks = -5, 1 mark -3, 2 marks -1, 3 marks = 0)
2 - marks grants bonuses
3 - other?

TLDR: Is staying on UVH as a new lvl 30 worth it for leveling?

I’m trying to platinum the game.
I completed the story as LVL 60 Rafa after doing all the side contents before defeating the Timekeeper so UTH might be a little rough for him (Firewerks and Bonnie & Clyde centered using beam cannon action skill).
As I need another vehicle I decided to make a Vex at lvl 30, farm a firewerks shield and Wombo Combo while using Reapers mostly. Ok easy it’s just that, but when I try UVT difficulty clearing an outpost sends all my ammunition to 0.
My blue Torgue sticky shotgun is my best weapon at this difficulty it seems.
Should I just stay on easy to level to 50 or grind it out on UVH and see if Vex can make it to UVH5?
