So it's been a journey! My family always said we were Czechoslovakian, but my great grandfather was born in the austri-hungarian empire in Horna, Slovakia.
Doing some genealogical research recently, it actually turned out that we are Rusyn!

I grew up in East Tennessee. About 10 years ago, I moved to the southwest, and I love it here.
I still have my accent, and I still look back fondly on them.
