My experience with entry level medical training
The part of the Reckless Ben video where the instructor gives the answers to the test reminded me of my training.
I work as a caretaker for Adults with developmental Disabilities and the company I work for “trained” me. A lot of what you learn is common tense, a lot of it isn’t.
When I was tested our instructor read aloud the question, read all the answers, and then said aloud the right answer.
When the questions had written answers she showed a key to the answers on the monitor.
They told us to memorize it but eventually I realized that wasn’t even necessary.
I did learn everything important cause I don’t wanna get caught being dumb. It did feel really weird and normalized, stupid people could definitely put others in danger.
I now have a CPR and First Aid certification and some weird caretaker certification that looked fake when I saw it
