Ive had my 5070TI for 2months... noticed that since may 2nd it thermal maxed 3x now. fans randomly hit 100%, keyboard stops working, then auto shutdown.... after the 3rd time, now my laptop fans hit almost 100% basically under any gaming super loud. so I opened a warranty claim, and need to ship it out.......... apparently this will a well know widely visible issue all across forums etc. Some say the liquid metal is not well placed, others say various other things including bios firmware etc etc etc. Either way, I paid like 3k CAD, and Acer can shove it up their ass for all I care.

This is 2months old 1 year warranty, and it only used on an open desk with a fan base 24/7. I have a work meeting in Missisauga ONT (their head office fir returns), im going to hand deliver it myself, and see what they can do about it, or get me some type of replacement option instead because best buy wont refund.

I have a 2.5month old system. in the last 2 weeks it has thermal throttled on me 3x. I only play total war games.... so basically Ill play for 1-2hours, and sometimes it will randomly thermal max throttle, the fans go 100%, keyboard stops working, then 20sec later the laptop shutoff automatically.... It is always on a desk, and a cooling pad 24/7, and on performance mode. I assume others have also had this issue with this laptop 5070TI version, ultra 9 275HX CPU...... I contacted ACER support, all they can ay basically is turn it off/on and is there anything blocking the fans....... Researching many ppl say the liquid metal paste is not correctly applied from factory on some models??? I've opened a ticket to ACER and they started a service repair. Now they want me to ship it to them directly. I wonder if this will just be a huge waste of time, because as i've said its only 3x in 2 weeks, very random. I've played for 3hours straight with no issue.... but its happening sooooo yeah this sucks. Paid 2850$ CAD less then 2 months ago.

WOOOPS they finally killed it

I've played this game for thousands of hours. But now it wont even start, it goes to the start screen with the trademarks, you can let it load for 5min, then just shuts off. I also tried verifying games files, and re-downloading the game on steam..... 0 changes to my laptop.

UPDATE & TEMP FIX: This seems to happen to everyone. If you want to play it, put steam in offline mode, it seems to be a CA server type weird issue.
