Hiiii!!!

So, one of my sims is in the detective career.

Well… You might not believe this but three sims died at our police station. Yep, 3 in a row. I believe old age, since they were all elder????

Anyways…

I decided, despite the fact that this was a very chaotic event, that I should put them at the graveyard and make a funeral since it would be the best option: I’d try something new in the game that I have never tried, no urns at the station and it would be a “good gesture”, even tho they’re just randomized NPC’s that show up to block the computers all day and do nothing… well, aside the Lab Tech who actually was examining evidence all day long. Poor guy, died of old age examining evidence.

But it didn’t go as expected.

So… for context, I believe I only was acquaintances with the detective that got lucky to get the full funeral experience.

Well…

Wasn’t able to invite that many people, could only do 1 funeral (said detective). That’s fine, whatever… it’s the sims, been like this since TS2 at least, BUT!!!

Here’s where I’m kinda pissed.

Wasn’t able to but a photo up for the lab tech or the receptionist.

It’s just empty photos… yep.

It was either photos of the detective, or a random ghost that I don’t know anything about.

Is there a way to fix this via cheats?

Actually… if you guys know where to find lashes for all types of sims… oof, even better

I installed the ones by san33 because I love realistic lashes, but it just doesn’t work on a shitty computer 🥲

So, for context… I’m making a custom neighborhood with subhoods. I’m using the neighborhood terrain presets by Silivrin. They all connect, which is such a cool concept.

One of my universities will be “connected” to the Exotic Island subhood. I wanna use desert terrain on said islands so they’re basically made out of sand, because it makes sense in my head, I guess

The university in question will be in the Southford terrain, and the exotic island location will be in the Delta isles.

One of the islands is half in one place, half in another, so I thought: “Hey, you know what would look cool? Changing this part of the terrain with the sand hood decor”

And yes… it would look amazing… unfortunately it doesn’t work as I expected.

Before that island idea, I had another idea for a fluvial beach in the main hood. For that, I had to install this mod that not only allows you to put hood decor wherever you want, but it also shows you said hood decor inside the lots.

Now that I read the info once again, it does say that terrains, flowers, etc… can’t be seen on lots, but I’m stubborn, lol 🙃 I installed SimPE to alter the values that the modded said, and it went almost super well… almost

You see, now I can in fact put sand on lots. I can put them in water, roads… everywhere. But when I enter the lot, it goes completely invisible. Which sucks, because it ruins the immersion completely.

The second you enter a lot, it’s gone. All gone, completely. I mean… it’s not gone, but you can’t see it. It sucks, because it looks sandy like an island on the outside, but entering the lot changes that. It’s not a sandy half of an island anymore… it’s grass.

So… is there any way I can do that with simPE or for instance, maybe a mod or hood decor cc that gives that illusion? If so… please help 🥲
