I'm going to be traveling Yugoslavia -- but how do I refer to the local language as a foreigner?

I'm an Iranian (not the cuck kind) that will be going to Yugoslavia soon, mostly Bosnia (for a second time) but some Croatia, Montenegro, and maybe Serbia depending on the way the itinerary goes (more coast less inland, vs less coast more inland).

In any case, I've been taking Croatian audio lessons to speak with locals basic conversational/tourist stuff, like directions, and costs and so on.

But throughout the lessons, the language is referred to Hrvetski (sp?). I'm wondering if I should call it a different language in each respective country, or do I call it Yugoslav, or what?

I don't want to come off as offensive if I call it one thing that might not sit right with another audience. Maybe I'm overthinking it, maybe I'm thinking it the correct amount.

Thanks and God bless!

What're some good Invictas to consider?

I need a walk-around watch / beater that I won't care too much about getting scuffed and scratched or damaged or robbed, but I don't want it to be a total piece of shit. Maybe a few hundred bucks at most.

The casual layperson doesn't know the difference anyway.

I (Canadian) want to surprise my uncle in Utrecht I lost contact with

Hey everybody,

My uncle had a falling out with my mom/aunt/grandmadue to a property dispute ~10 years ago. Of course, it wasn't my beef, we kept contact but due to life issues I lost touch with a lot of family and friends.

I'm finally in a physical and financial position to rebuild old relationships. I want to fly over to Utrecht for a week and track and surprise my uncle and cousins.

My uncle is 61 years old by now, I'm not sure if that's retirement age in Netherlands. I doubt he's the type to have saved for retirement as he also went through a divorce, but I imagine the gov't social services in Netherlands is strong enough that maybe he's enjoying retirement (or about to be).

I'm not asking anybody's help in tracking, I know that's a grey area (can be abused for stalker stuff), but if people could give some tips/advice about your city, like places where an Armenian/Iranian man of his age may frequent, cheap places to stay (for myself), and things I might enjoy about Utrecht while I'm there (either this summer, or autumn).

I would like to spend some time in his shoes, walking/biking in his city as he and my cousins do. If I end up unable to locate them myself somehow, I will eventually reach out to family who would know more directly, but I hope to avoid that as it may cause more issues.

My bank says I'm "pre-approved" for a 20k LOC at 9%

My banking app with RBC says I'm pre-approved for a 20k LOC at 9% (edit: 5% + "prime rate")

They originally offered 10k but I let it expire. This one expires in a couple weeks.

I've spent a few years trying to get debt free. I have around 11k remaining, split evenly between student loans and cc, because I'm tackling it avalanche method.

Any reason I should or shouldn't take it? Could there be a hard inquiry on my file even though they say I'm pre-approved if I take them up?

I have 3.5k of 37k of credit balance used and most is in a balance transfer visa already.
