Kinda wanting to put off starting his next book I’ve enjoyed the rest a ton and I do trust the process just didn’t find trull that appealing in HoC. How long did this book take to grab you guys?
I made a post earlier this week on bidithal and said I would update. If you told me at the beginning of this book I would want Karsa fucking orlong in a camp where girls being abused was running rampant I would tell you you were fucking crazy. This shit is so hype. Very excited to finish the book today

I swear to god it is so hard reading characters do fucking despicable acts to others and not see revenge right away. What the hell do you mean shaik needs bidithal. I did find some humor in lloric saying “heboric wants to kill bidithal???? I WANT TO KILL bidithal”
EDIT I am on chapter 13 rn making quick progress. I know revenge or justice will eventually come but it’s tough seeing it happen then just change perspectives when you hope something will stop it.

Holy hell I have been sad or felt empty of characters fates before. I knew going into this book that coltain was done dirty but listening to this chapter has led to reflection. The destruction of the crows simply trying to reincarnate a worthy soul. The cross after witnessing an army of your subordinates family and friends be slowly slaughtered. I could not imagine a worse fate for such a cool character. Surely these books never make me sad again.
I’m not a huge complainer on the company I have a great job but recently me and some coworkers are having a ton of frustration with pay. There is some bot being that adds 10-15 punches per shift and some days it cuts zero hours sometimes it’s half the day. Of course this happens right before payroll is due and then once it’s caught (if) it takes till next week to get back paid and then all that money is getting taxed more for being on the same check. Has anyone else been experiencing this?
Is there a picture or something that summarizes the location of all our main characters and groups after the events of wind and truth? Some are obvious but others aren’t. Like who is still in urithiru and so forth. Thank you
