1st Year IBEB Student - Erasmus

Hey Everyone!

I'm an incoming first year student at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and I am DESPERATELY trying to find housing for when I start in September.

I know it's late. I know it's difficult. Everyone says the same thing. Go to some other country or plan on differing for a year. I know it's all real advice, but right now I just NEED to try and find housing at Rotterdam.

If anyone has any leads: any websites, or agents, or contacts that could help in any way possible, I would be grateful beyond words. Any advice helps!

ADVICE FOR A NEW TUTOR

Hey Guys!

I got 1600 on my SAT in the previous August session. People always told me to hold tuitions for it and make money but it never seemed to appeal to me. However, now that I have a bit of free time on my hand, I might be interested.

I would be super grateful if you guys could lemme know the usual rates (per hour), if students would be interested, and how could I target these students.

McMaster vs Erasmus - Pak Undergrad Student

Hey Everyone!

I hope you’re well. I am currently at a crossroads trying to decide between going to McMaster (Bcom) or Erasmus (IBEB).

I know that Erasmus is the better university by far, but McMaster challenges it with a good Co-op Program.

Erasmus means I get to travel more, and even pursue football at a higher level. However, McMaster can help lead to PR and settlement in Canada.

I’m confused as to what to do decide. Keeping in job job prospects and quality of life, what would you choose?

(I can always do masters later and settle in canada?)

IBEB Graduates Job Prospect

For those that have completed the IBEB course from EUR, how were your job prospects after graduation? This question is more specially targeted to international students. Were you able to find good jobs after bachelors or were you forced to do a masters as well?

Rotterdam Housing - Pak Undergrad Student

Hey everyone!

I hope you're doing well. I will be starting my IBEB course at Erasmus University Rotterdam this coming fall. Moving to Netherlands alone from Pakistan to pursue my studies seems scary and exciting at the same time. Nonetheless, I look forward to whatever life brings!

I have been struggling to secure housing this past week. If anyone has any tips, websites, or contacts that could be of any use, I would be deeply grateful!

For reference, here is what I would be searching for:

  • Room/Studio/Apartmenet (doesn't matter, even open to sharing rooms)
  • Budget: 700-800 (850 max)
  • Registration Possible
  • Location: (doesnt matter as long as within 30 minutes bike ride to EUR as I can't afford trams on a daily basis)
