Somehow got the worst possible combination from the Gachapon 😭
Was hoping for either Guts and Casca or Griffith and Zodd/Behelit. But somehow got the eeriest combo....

Specifically I'm trying to replicate Ishida Sui's style with watercolors
I'm thinking of buying a new set cuz my current ones are pretty old and I bring handkerchiefs daily
I really love the cyber psychosis visualization in edgerunners especially with the season 2 trailer. I've also been seeing a lot of Kingsley going cyberpsycho fanart, which kinda inspired me to do a similar style for Katana Zero since chronos essential drives you psycho too(and I just love that game as much as edgerunners)
I really liked the cyber psychosis visualization especially with the new trailer and it made me think it would fit Katana Zero
These are some recent paintings I've made and I usually end up relying on color pencils and copic markers to get deeper colors. Is it the paint I'm using or is there something wrong with my process?
and I hate how apt that description is lmao. For context, he was trying to explain tokyo ghoul to another friend(who has seen jjk) and he had a random brain fart saying "oh yah, tokyo ghoul also had a really OP character. He was like the Hojo of Tokyo Ghoul". Its nothing too serious tbh but I hate how it actually kinda makes sense
It's been almost a year since I finally started trying to really improve my digital art skills. Specifically portrait drawing and painting. I like having a "painterly" aesthetic as well but I do feel like there is no cohesion in my artstyle. Honestly, I never really considered taking art seriously enough to get commissions out of it or anything until recently. So I just wanna know if my current skill level "has what it takes" i guess??? but also general criticism on how I could hopefully improve.
Recently picked up watercoloring, and its painful when you see mistakes you can't fix anymore lol
while I feel like I'm getting the hang of it, I still end up relying on color pencils to do darker and more precise parts. Anyone have advice on trying to do that with watercolors instead?
Most of my life I've only ever done pen drawing tradionally, and started painting digitally about a year ago. A friend gave me some watercolors and a pad so I tried it out.
Looking for a comfy space I can go to for doing my art I guess? Like an art cafe or something? A place with good tables and lighting as well I guess?
P.S. sorry the thing on the paper isn't a real spell 😭 its so hard draw it in perspective
