Should I remove the withered leaves at the bottom? I want it to look a bit fuller.

It’s interesting to look back at the photos I’ve been taking over the past four months; I’m happy to see the spines growing in properly 💫 There’s a sort of crispy-looking layer on the surface now—I switched to a stronger light because I thought the previous one was too weak, so I wonder if that’s the cause?
