I caught a cast swarm from one of my hives today and believe based on the size of the queen and the swarm that it is a virgin. How long should I leave the queen caged until releasing her in the box?

I have never messed with a swarm before now and I have never seen a hive that has been this strong. Just over 2 weeks ago I caught this swarm and put it in a 10 frame deep. In that time they have drawn out 9/10 frames and the queen has laid in every one of them. This is the outer most frame with eggs and nectar. Wow.

What color should I do my edging with for this? It’s not a super dark green so I am thinking something dark to contrast. Thoughts?

FINALLY. After rubbing several pieces of burr comb on the frames I see that they are sealing them up and will be ready for some homey soon…. Now I just need to get them queen right.
I saw they were almost hopelessly queenless so I took open brood from another hive and gave this hive a frame. Should I have just introduced one of my other queens?
Finally got time this week to finish painting this guy. I wonder how much more I can add…. The rocket launcher is magnetized from the gladiator set.

Hello. I am a beekeeper and took this section of wax out of my hive that I thought is cool. Can I cast this? I am not seeing any examples of people trying to preserve bees wax.
