Finally got the Epson software suite installed after three failed attempts (it kept dying at the step after the serial number where it connects to the scanner). Updated the scanner firmware, restarted both the PC and the scanner. So the software is current and everything's talking, mostly.

Here's where I'm stuck:

If I open Epson ScanSmart on my PC, it sees the scanner fine and scans whatever's in the feeder when I hit scan. No problem there.

But if I load a document and press "Computer" on the scanner itself, it can't find my PC. Nothing shows up.

That button is the entire reason I bought this thing. I scan in volume and I need to be able to start jobs from the scanner without going to the computer first. My old HP printer does one-touch scan-to-PC without any fuss, so I know my setup handles this fine.

Already did the obvious stuff: latest software, updated firmware, restarted everything. Not sure what's left to try.

PC is on Windows 11. Scanner is connected over Wi-Fi.
