My new benchmark. 3.6 Flash destroyed all of the other AI models.

Yeah granted my art skills aren't that great..

I used Gemini 3.6 Flash (no thinking) and compared it to Sonnet 5 (Medium), 5.6 Terra ( in the default chat mode, no thinking), Grok 4.5 (with default thinking). All of them are in the default configuration on each app, meaning no instruction, no thinking and just using the base model.

My prompt was the following: Imagine the 5 lines on this road are speed bumps and a car is about to cross it (holy english grammar sry). How many countable bumps will the driver feel?"

Obviously the trick is that the speed bumps are diagonal, and the correct answer should be between 10 (on the most ideal conditions, with horizontal speedbumps and the car going straight, with two wheel axles) and 20 (if the speed bumps or the vehicle's direction aren't horizontal/straight).

On the first shot, 3.6 Flash (not even 3.7 Flash, nor Pro nor any thinking mode) nailed it. It gave me the correct answer without any hesitation.

The 3 other AI models, Grok, Sonnet and GPT, all failed miserably, all of them didn't take into consideration the diagonal configuration of the speed bumps and the fact that there are 2 wheel axles.

I kind of take it as a great benchmark to test the ability of each model for their vision capabilities and link what they see with their reasoning. Gemini somehow clearly won that here. Full Gemini answer: https://share.gemini.google/ClKuRlRI2msZ

(PRO user) PPX staff BANNING Discord users to hide complaints.

So I'm not really active in discord servers in general, but I was really disappointed when I saw the announcement about Grok 4.6 in Computer. TBH I feel really pissed off because of my experience on Perplexity and this update doesn't solve any of my issues or does not add significant value for my Perplexity needs, so I react with dislike emoji. A couple of minutes later I got a message from the PPX bot saying I've been BANNED: **Reason:** 3. Treat community members with respect.

**Case** `QfcYFXy`.

I did not interact with anybody in any wrong way, so I assume perplexity wants to hide the user complaints by banning them.

Is that really how you treat your customers?

I got HACKED

So on my professional account I got hacked somehow (I never linked it with any external app, nor gave my credentials to anyone), and hundreds of elon musk scams were sent via DMs. I immediately logged all my sessions out and manually sent apology MPs but there are so many users affected. How can I bulk send a message?

I built an aviation page to 42k followers, but I’ve hit a wall and desperately need some strategic advice / brainpower

Hey guys,

I’m hoping to connect with some people here who understand both aviation and digital strategy, because I’ve hit a massive wall and I really don't know how to move forward.

A couple of years ago, I started an aviation page called SkyX International. It started out just as a place to share my passion for planes, and it actually blew up to over 65,000 followers at its peak. right now, it’s sitting around 42,000.

Here is my problem: The page is slowly dying, the remaining audience is mostly asleep, and I haven't been able to post consistently for months.

To be completely honest, managing it alone has become impossible. I’m a student pilot working toward my goal of becoming a commercial airline pilot. Between my actual flight training and working on developing an aviation learning platform I’m building (called Averis), my personal bandwidth is completely maxed out. Every time I try to force myself to create content, I burn out, and watching something I built and care about slip away is incredibly frustrating.

I am NOT looking to hire a video editor, and I don't need a random social media manager to schedule posts. I don't need staff yet.

what I actually need is brainpower. I need to talk to people who love aviation, understand how digital communities work, and can help me look at this from the outside to figure out a real strategy. I need to figure out what this community should actually look like, how to fix the content pipeline without driving myself crazy, and how to turn it into something meaningful again.

If you have a mind for strategy, understand the aviation or sim world, and are down to just have a real conversation and help me brainstorm a roadmap, please drop me a DM. I’d love to hear your background and just talk things through .

cheers, Yanis

403 project access denied (API)

I got this issue for more than 24h now:

Pipeline failed: Gemini API Error: {

"error": {

"code": 403,

"message": "Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.",

"status": "PERMISSION_DENIED"

I've been using the API to automatically send ONLY 5 REQUESTS PER DAY.
