I should have bought 390
I’m riding in unfamiliar for me places, so I can only plan my trips using apps like DMD. They often lead me to single tracks, hard enduro tracks, or forgotten ones when you meed to cut through the bushes.
For that kind of riding 890 adv r is too much for my skill
Is it normal behavior?
Seen this for a first time. Happened twice on cold/warm engine. Then it runs normally.
Is it ok?
(Already messaged dealer)
890 adv r low oil pressure and ignition issues
I was casually commuting back home when I felt power drop while I was having constant throttle level. Looked at the dash – check engine light.
Ridden another 100m, stopped at a traffic like and stalled. Looked at the dash – low oil pressure light. I also felt some burnt smell at the moment, but fuses are ok, no leakages too.
Tried to restart the bike, nothing. It was trying to crank it, but barely few ignitions heard and then stalling again.
It’s a brand new bike, 1180km old. Breaking in service was done at 1k with the dealer.
So, dealer picked up my bike, waiting for their verdict.
Fucking hate this bike, but also love how it rides when fully working. Shitty gamble to own the bike.
UPD: it’s not the first issue. Everything started with front plastic issue — some oil spot on it. Then battery dead at the beginning of the first ride. Then fuel level sensor failed — bike always showed 200km+
Opções de Banco para a 890 Adv R
À procura de um banco mais confortável para aventuras de dias longos. O de série entorpece-me o traseiro numa hora. Preciso de algo que seja bom para longas horas sentado e confortável para andar de pé fora de estrada.
Estava a pensar no SC Comfort Two Up. Mas talvez esteja a perder algo e haja coisa melhor por aí.
Obrigado!
890 Adv R Seat Options
Looking for more comfortable seat for long days adventures. Stock one makes my butt numb in an hour. I need some unicorn that is good for long stretches to sit on and comfortable for standing off-road use.
I was thinking about SC Comfort Two Up. But maybe I miss something and there is something better out there.
Thanks!
Break-in finished!
Love the bike so far, besides some small issues:
- Dead battery;
- Failed fuel level sensor;
- Dealer left one fuel tank petcock closed so I got stranded for a few minutes.
Still getting used to this engine sound — bucket full of rusty bolts and scrap lol. On first service gonna install dirty tricks chain tensioner. Hope it will help a bit
This is ridiculously capable bike even on a single track. The only limit is my skill
