Where can I find a place to park?

I got my apartment on green street and was asking bankier about parking leases but they ran out of spots. I cheked JSR but they dont have anything near my building. Is there another way for me to have somewhere to park my car?

Closeted (or open) exmuslims, How do you deal with muslim friends youve had since before losing faith?

Curious to see how yall continue or dispose of these relations, considering sometimes those groups can be pretty dogmatic.

I for one am trying to slowly ghost mine as the bond that once tied us no longer exists for me

Is my vehicle at risk for getting pulled over?

Im gonna go on a trip starting from chicago then driving to mt rushmore, yellowstone, denver, and back in four or five days.

I was going to ask if I could borrow my brothers car but hes hesitant and hasnt responded to me yet, otherwise I wouldve taken my car.

The reason im unsure of my car is that my driver side headlight doesnt turn on and im still awaiting my plate sticker. Would I be fine on this drive with my car?

How can I paint the remaining sections without interfering with the skin?

I have flats on the layer beneath my 5th, which is all just painting, and at the very top the lineart. Is there a tool that can help me section the hair and eyes off that isn't the freehand select or do I need to just thug it out atp

Where do I fall off and how can I make it look more complete? WIP

I've been racking my head trying different things and looking for a method that would result in me being able to shade and highlight the hair here, but ive just been stuck for hours. Initially I started this piece with the intent of hybridizing lineart with painting (and doing a similar lighting to reference), however I've spent way too much time on this and all I really have done is just flat colors.

I am generally able to paint and move around values somewhat, but here I'm just at a block.

How can I recreate this value picking/blend technique in krita?

*Video shown is meant to illustrate the kind of function I want to get out of krita

Every art tutorial Ive seen for making paintings and renders digitally show that the process used works very simply and without hassle, but when I try todo the same things in krita it just looks ugly even when doing barebones exercises. I think its because of the way the default brush settings are, theyre all opacity based and have the annoying overlap and weak blending properties, how do I make blending/painting with these brushes actually intuitive and tolerable?

What the hell is feminism in islam

I was looking at classes for my semester and one that I browsed over was a course on feminism in islam. I dont know if it would talk about the feminism in islam (There isnt any so it cant be that) Or the lack of it. Anyway I thought itd be interesting if i went and saw it but If I did id likely get outed as an exmuslim cos id probably ask the real big questions there

How can I paint better?

Sometimes I'm able to paint not too bad like in my second+third image, but thats with pen settings opacity disabled. I want to be able to paint/blend (dont know if it's the right term in this case) without having to always change color tones for slight shading which I often see people doing with opacity brushes in simpler paints (4th image example), but I just cannot recreate it. The software I use is kirta, and I dont know if its their default opacity brush settings sucking or I just havent learned to use them right yet.

The 1st image is a piece im working on purely from my own creativity without refernces yet, so thats probably a reason as to why I cant get it to look good yet. Overall criticism and feedback is welcome for my arts.

Family urging me to get a muslim roommate (How do I get around this)

For context im going to be transfering as a junior to a fulltime univeristy thats 2hrs from my house and My parents are allowing me to live on campus there but the problem is that they expect me to seek out a muslim roommate (Im still hanging on the being a closested exmuslim thread rn ). I need to find an apartment asap for the fall(idk how to start that as well but thats a whole different thing i guess).

Obviously I fake being muslim at home and the whole reason I wanted to go to this uni is because I liked its location and i can live separately, but if im being urged to get a muslim roommate by my whole family (as soon as they bring up me going to live on campus they say check the MSA boards for roommates) I'd still be living without freedom.

I guess the question is, to those who've been in this scenario or are in it, How did you deal or make peace with it? Did you continue closeting? Told your roommate and they were chill with it and you? Became an asshole to you? or manage to finesse your way into getting normal roommates?
