Streamer straw_hat_goofy gave an exclusive interview with Eggers, but the release date is still unknown. They're in a screening room, and toward the end of the preview, the words "Trailer coming soon" appeared, so perhaps we'll see it during the interview? We're still waiting for confirmation.

From Robert Eggers' interview with ESQUIRE about the characters: ATJ's character is a cursed farmer, LR-Depp is his wife and the most good character in the film, Dafoe is a hunter, and like Orlok, the Beast will be kept hidden until the film's release.
