I never get the deals I see on this sub. Why?

It could be as simple as only having the card for 6 months. If so, fine. I’ll wait.

But I check this sub religiously and along with the Cap1 offers page and the Cap1 shopping app and I never see anything posted here.

Is there something I am missing? Thanks.

Replaced knock sensor, took the car on a 70 mile highway trip and the check engine light came back on. Please help!

Background: The OEM knock sensor broke during a starter replacement last July. I installed the K-Tuned sensor at that time and it seemed fine. I maybe drove the car 100 miles since then while I replaced/repaired lots of other stuff. As I was doing a drive cycle to make sure new O2 sensors fixed my cat code and the CEL came on with a P0325(23-1) KNOCK SENSOR NO SIGNAL code. Assuming the K-Tuned sensor was to blame, I took the intake manifold off and replaced it with an NTK ID0124 from RockAuto. I buttoned everything back up last weekend and was able to take it on a 70mile trip this morning with varied city/highway driving.

Around the 45-50 mile mark, the CEL came on. My scan tool shows P0325(23-1) KNOCK SENSOR NO SIGNAL again.

I’m stumped as to what to do next. I made sure I torqued it to spec when I installed it and it’s not like it’s saying there is a knock. It’s saying no signal. So maybe wiring? Grounding? Or did I screw myself by going with an NTK part? Reviews were good for it so I thought it could work fine. And since it’s the same issue with both this one and the K-Tuned one, I’m hoping it’s something stupid I’m missing. Thanks in advance.

Repairing holes in spoiler where the back of the hole is inaccessible

I picked up a rare OEM spoiler for my RSX Type S and it has some holes. I want to repair them before I paint it. I have repaired several plastics over the years but I always had access to both sides. In this case I do not. Do you all have any tips or tricks to get this repaired? Apart from mashing in jb weld putty, I’m a bit stumped. Thanks.

Should I replace my hatch? Hear me out. I need a sounding board.

I have a black 06 Type S that I’ve been restoring for the last year. I found a mint interior from a junkyard car so I’m set there and I’m now focusing on the exterior. I plan to have it painted either ABP or VBP, but that’s not until next spring at the earliest.

Currently, my hatch is a little rough. For starters, it has no badging, which I hate. I would buy badging and add it after the paint. Second, it’s got a semi-significant dent that would be fixed during the paint session. Locally, I found a black Type S with a hatch that is pretty solid. Paint is rough but it’s got the badging and has no dents for $150

I’m tempted to pull the trigger and swap mine out. If you were me, what would you do?

How do I remove the ac vent without damaging the whole assembly?

I’ve got a black interior 06 Type S and this vent must have been replaced by the prior owner with a tan one. How can I remove it to put in a black one? Thanks.

I've got an 06 Type S with the classic ripped/torn leather seats. I found an excellent pair of original OEM leather seats last summer with no rips from an 05 and I want to install them. The problem is, the driver side seat rail on the one I want to put in is very rusty and interferes with the motion. The seat rails on my existing drivers seats are great.

My question is, can these be swapped? I didn't see any obvious methods to unbolt them from the cushion/frame. Id like to take my existing rails and put them on the replacement seats. What do you think? Thanks!
