Can we just leave the cruise at any port?

This would be a scenario of going on a cruise mainly for transport from Point A to Point B, when “Point B” is a port/country before the final disembarkation.

For example, if there is a 6 day round trip from New Orleans and on day 4 it stops at a port in Jamaica, are we allowed to get off without any intent to return to return to the ship? And if so, is there some procedure for doing this?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’ve never been on a cruise before and never really even thought about it- but when I’m crunching the numbers and comparing airfare to cruise deals, if this is an option it might be a no-brainer!
Especially if we are flexible.

Thanks for any input, I appreciate it!

🇿🇦South Africa recommendations?

It looks like there’s quite a selection of properties in South Africa. Trying to narrow it down- does anyone have recommendations in the range of $100-300USD? Or maybe a higher-end safari experience? Thank you so much! 🙏

🤔ORD T5/Lounge Access from T1?

If I have inbound/connecting flights in T1, a long layover and SA Gold, can I go to T5? Just to wander around and check out the LOT lounge?

Just curious how one generally gets invited to the United Club marked “By Invitation Only” at LHR? (located kinda by that M&S at the end of T2 arrivals if I recall).

Is it different than a regular UC? I’m picturing butlers pushing gold- plated trolleys with caviar and Cristal and whatnot for GS and the landed gentry🤧
