Necromancer (Folklore: The Affliction)

This was a little rushed, but I wanted to get him done quickly to add to my Halloween diorama. The green smoke has some gray shadowing in it, but it's not showing up well in the picture.

Sabine Wren

This is the last of the Ghost crew down, but I wanted to showcase her with her own post. Her armor has a lot of fine detail that needed to be freehanded, but it was really hard to find consistent reference photos. Her right glove, for example, is from S1, but her left gauntlet is from S3. The rest of the armor is mostly based on S4, but the whole thing is a mishmash.

I'm particularly proud of the owl design on her left shoulder, the rebel insignia on her chest, and the orange spraypaint effect on her left leg armor.

The reference images I pulled from are in slide 2.

Black Site Prisoner- Bizzy

This was a 3D print from Etsy. I really liked the design and was stunned by the print quality. For once, I'm really happy with how the skin and face turned out. It was also a lot of fun picking out all the mechanical details on the legs. All in all, this has been one of my favorite pieces to work on and admire in a long time.

Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight

I'm decently happy with how this turned out. The challenge was in making his outfit not just black on black on black. If you look at some reference images, you can see that his robe, tabbbards, and dash are actually brown (or like, black that has been left in the sun too long). I mixed some burnt brown and shadow gray to end up with the color I used, and it's a very close match to the image I referenced. The tunic is German gray, and the boots/glove are gloss black.

Boardgame find: Halo Risk

It was in the boutique, not the usual toy section. $20 is a little more than I'd prefer to spend on a used game with potentially missing pieces, but as a fan of both franchises, it was a risk (heh) I was willing to take. Turns out, it was 100% complete, and all components were in excellent shape! Plus, it was significantly less than the ~$55 asking price on eBay. I call this a win.
