I started manifesting that Canada Day would kickstart a 10 plus game win streak. It will happen.
Typically I’ve always worn the same thing after multiple wins, but that hasn’t been working this year, and tomorrow I have an event that I won’t be able to anyways. So here is the shrine.

Bought my first pair of boots. Unfortunately 9.5 were snug but felt like they would probably work in and be a touch too loose. So went with 9s. Fairly tight on the instep but not painful, so figure they’ll mold nicely.
Problem is my toes were pretty cramped (not touching the front though). Nothing too bad but not the best. Ended up buying some Dr. Scholls 3/4 insoles and now the fit is perfect, toes have all the room I need.
I see that Boulet insole underneath the removable one isn’t leather. Is it okay that the toe area of the boot won’t have any insole over it?
We are heading to Vietnam and currently booked with Cathay. We have exit row for the long hauls from Vancouver to Hong Kong and vice versa to account for my length, so will have all the room in the world for my legs with the bulk head. I’m also skinny, seat width doesn’t matter too much to me but width is always welcome.
I see that I can rearrange our flight so we can both fly premium economy for only 2000CAD more (total). We like that we can sit with only the two of us in the row, however is there really that much extra space (obviously less than exit row but is it still spacious)? The bulkhead seats are already taken so we would sit in the back row of PE.
My wife will be fine, she’s short. But for me is it going to be worth the extra money? Is the seat recline that much more noticeable for sleeping? I also imagine that the foot rest will be completely useless for me since my legs already go under the seat as is, but will the calf rest help?
Or just stick to our exit row seats?
