Does anyone know why there has been a terrible burned rubber smell near the corner of Mission and Garfield? I can smell it on the south side of Mission not sure if it’s detectable on the north side. It’s in a very specific spot and hasn’t gone away for weeks. At first I thought it was road repair and the asphalt smelled but it still stinks.
So my sweet, sweet kid is a snorer and will be a freshman in the fall. He is an only child and the snoring has only been an issue at sleep away camp. He’s tried the usual stuff, nose strips, moth tape, a sleep study, etc but he just sleeps on his back and snores when very tired. We now worry for his roommate.
Would it be mortifying if we gifted his new roommate some Loop earplugs?
I have pretty prominent blue veins/ thin skin under my eyes. I’ve begun a cream regimen but my question is where should I go to get the best color match for concealer and foundation? A department store (?) and if so, which brand best trains their staff? Sephora? How well trained is their staff? Anyone who has insight into the other side of the counter I’d love their insight or maybe this isn’t even that complicated?

My child is graduating and has had a very special tutor since grade 5. We want to give her a gift and are hoping for some ideas. He will include a card but for the actual item what do you think she might like/use? I was thinking around $200.
Will the fellow petites indulge me for a moment? If one more person says, just get the pants hemmed because fashion brands simply don’t sell petite sizes I think I’m going to lose it. It’s so frustrating that brands pass this cost onto the petite sized consumer simply because it’s too expensive for the brand to expand sizing options. To have to go through the hassle of extra time and expense because companies want to pass this cost on to the consumer feels very unfair. Ok rant over.
