I finally got this little welding table completed on a weekend, I drawn it up in cad a little over 3 years back.

The tops 1000mm x 1000mm x 100mm 6mm, legs are 80mm x 80mm total height i think is 900mm

It's a nice size for me for the weekend stuff.

Total cost for this welding table:
£306: Laser cutting materials (plus VAT)
£129.24: 7.6 meters of 80mm x 80mm x 3mm tube ( inc. VAT/delivery )
£53: Caster wheels.
I still have a fair bit of the 80mm square tube left over so that bring the total cost down a little

So the total cost was a little over £450

Bare in mind it's a DIY welding project and is not comparable to
Premium/Industrial: Siegmund, BuildPro (Strong Hand Tools), GPPH.
Or Mid-Range/DIY: CertiFlat, Mac Industries
you get what you pay for.

And that kind of money would have been a total waste for me.

Let me know your thoughts, Do you think the laser cutting plus 6mm steel was expensive or not bad?

Hi all

I stumble across comments now and then regarding Ai thumbnails and slop in the same sentence.

Do you think Ai thumbnails alone can hurt a channel? For several months ive been using a thumbnail generator in vidiq but I have made sure that each thumbnail has the original item or subject matter in each thumbnail allowing the generator to play with background and text only.

Each thumb has a high score like high 80,s low 90,s but I do worry whether a thumbnail generator is a bad thing?

I am monetised but have never hit a threshold, I figured changing all the thumbs and titles might pick things up but things seem to be going the other way.

Thanks

This is the first time I have drawn something up in cad then had it laser cut.

The welding table top is 1000mm x 1000mm x 100mm and 6mm.

I may make one twice the size at some point from 10mm -13mm plate but for now this will do.

I did design the tabs in a way that they are more like guide pins and I would run a bit of weld between them, It would make assembly easier I think but I'm now thinking of welding it all up on the inside.

The bottom half will be 80mm Square tube and I just have to decide on caster wheels.

if it all goes well I will add a set of drawings and dxf files.
