Mahidevran was very close to becoming a Valide

Suleyman lived very long, if he passed away when he got sick in 1550’s, Amasya province or not Mustafa would be the next Padişah

What to do when the other mod becomes overbearing?

Apologies if this isn’t allowed, I’m using a burner account because I don’t want the other mod to see this.

I run two active, but small, niche communities on Reddit. On one of them, we run it together with a friend and she is super chill, everything goes very smooth and we get along well.

The other community… it’s a smaller community about a niche topic, slowly but steadily growing, and the other mod is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about this niche subject. However, if someone disagrees or has a different opinion than them, they will either strongly disagree, make some heavily worded call out posts or firmly correct the person. I asked them to delete a call out post in the past before as it involved another sub and it could be detrimental to our community. I started this community as a wholesome non-toxic space, but this competitive, strict, correcting nature is starting to make me uncomfortable. Recently I posted something that they disagree with on this niche topic and they sent me some DM’s about how hurt they are about it (???) and I tried to explain this is not personal or even directed at them and we shouldn’t be so serious about online activity. I worded it in a friendly way to calm things down but honestly I’m pretty shocked.

I also don’t have the time to deeply analyze each and every post or comment and reply to people, like this person does.

This person is extremely knowledgeable but the overall situation is getting a bit overwhelming, it’s as if they’re unilaterally dominating this space and any opposing view is not allowed. I gave this person full permission to moderate the sub but it seems like they want to rule the sub their way and my efforts to calm things down don’t work.

What would be your best solution
