Fellow IUGR(low birth weight) mommies....

I'm 34 weeks currently. Recently saw a post about low-weight/IUGR baby hence posting this question. My OB hasn't mentioned anything about my baby's weight or labor plan but my baby's weight is around 3rd percentile. Do doctors in India suggest induction or c-section early because of baby weight? I don't have any other complications. Please share your experiences.

34 weeks and my armpit hair is turning blonde/bleached? Anyone else?

I’m currently 34 weeks and noticed something really strange with my underarm hair. I’m South Asian and I’ve only ever had black body hair my entire life, but now some parts of my armpit hair look blonde/bleached and I’m also seeing soft peachy-blonde fuzz in the area.

It’s mostly on one side and the skin underneath also looks a bit darker. I haven’t bleached, shaved, or used any new products. I’m confused because I didn’t even know body hair could suddenly change color like this.😭

Has anyone experienced this during pregnancy? Could hormones actually do this or should I get it checked?

33 weeks pregnant, just found out my TSH is 7.5. Spiraling with guilt and anxiety

I tested my bloodwork at 33 weeks and everything came back normal except my thyroid. My TSH is 7.5 and I’m honestly shocked because my thyroid levels were normal before pregnancy. My OB isn’t worried and just started me on medication, but I can’t stop spiraling after reading things online about thyroid issues affecting baby brain development.

I feel guilty for not testing earlier in pregnancy and I keep wondering if I somehow caused harm without knowing. Baby’s movements are normal and my scans have otherwise been okay, but Google has me terrified.

Has anyone else discovered hypothyroidism late in pregnancy and gone on to have a healthy baby? Did your thyroid go back to normal after delivery or did it stay? I’d really appreciate hearing real experiences because right now my anxiety is through the roof.

32w3d but baby measuring 29w5d, weight dropped to 3rd percentile. OB says not to worry but I’m anxious

I’m trying to understand whether anyone else has experienced this kind of gradual increase in the gap between GA (gestational age) and AUA (average ultrasound age) during pregnancy.

These were my scans:

11w3d → baby measured 10w6d

14w6d → baby measured 13w6d

23w5d → estimated weight 464 g, AUA (average ultrasound age) 21w5d

32w3d → estimated weight 1254 g, , AUA (average ultrasound age) 29w5d

So the gap has slowly increased from a few days behind to almost 3 weeks behind now.

My OB reviewed the scan and said everything else looks good and told me not to worry. Dopplers and fluid were apparently okay. But the estimated fetal weight is now around the 3rd percentile and that’s what’s making me anxious.

I was also a smaller baby myself, so I’m wondering if this could just be constitutional/small genetics rather than something dangerous.

Has anyone had a baby consistently measure behind like this and still go on to have a healthy outcome? Did your doctors treat it as IUGR/FGR or just a small baby? Did growth eventually catch up or stay low percentile until delivery?

Trying to hear real experiences while I wait for the next scan because the increasing gap is scaring me a bit.
