Due to the oc drama around hoodie I thought we could compare him to the eric oc. Since that one is fairly popular and hoodie is largely hated. What do you think makes them polar opposites in the fandom?

Why don't you just keep interpretations of characters sexual/romantic orientations open at all times and let us ship however we want when we want? Thats bettwr then arguing whether nicole is lesbian or straight. It's a rejection sim anyway. I'd actually be happy if there was more variety outside current popular ships.

I don't know abkut you but I kind of like this new trend, alot of subreddits seem to hate the idea of oc's much less having them date cannon characters. But to me there a good example of transformative writing, where we take an idea or setting and ask "what happens when x met y in cannon" or whatif x character was in this situation instead? They give fandoms life which makes it a shame to me atleast that people still have the same stigma against oc's as just self insert when they can be so much more. Expand your minds people.
