Man has USAA gone downhill the past few years
This is the third time I’ve gone through a homeowner’s insurance claim with USAA. I’m not going to put any specifics about my current claim here but I do just want to vent that the homeowners insurance has become absolute trash. They default to a position of “what can we scrimp on” versus “how can we help you” now. Wildly different experience from my previous two claims. They’re fighting the contractors on everything. Switching when this is done. /rant

How to attach floor mats to stubborn anchors
This might be a dumb question, but is there some trick to securing the floor mats to the floor anchors?
I tried following the instructions as shown on the last attached picture, but it feels like I have to use an excessive amount of force. I even tried bending the anchor up a little with pliers and wedging a small flathead screwdriver in with no luck.
