Religious guilt

I've grown up my whole life under Christian beliefs including the "homosexuality is wrong" belief. It was in 2024 when I found my true self and realized that I was gay, through the past 2 years I have been trying to seek any knowledge on if being gay was truly a sin and I have been feeling like filth ever since. If anyone can please help me out whether it be in recommending verses, good ideas for prayer, or maybe ways that I can get help in other places, I will really appreciate it. I just feel really hopeless recently and I've lost lots of my faith so I'd really appreciate any help you can give.

Well it went well last time so let's do it again. Ask me absolutely anything and I'll answer.

I will not be giving out my full name, my banking information, or my approximate location. All other questions about me or something else are fine, I'm not sure if I should have marked this as NSFW or not because I'm not sure if I'll get any strange questions.

Ask me absolutely anything and I'll answer in 24 hours.

I suppose this would be fun to answer a bunch of random questions, I'll answer all questions once my 24 hour timer rings into my ears

How necessary is it to come out when in a straight relationship?

Me and my girlfriend have been dating for ten months and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to come out or not.
