Titanium Grail Watch of the Day
Credor Locomotive, ref. GCCR997. 38.8mm diameter, 41.7mm lug-to-lug, 8.9mm thickness; Seiko High-Intensity Titanium, sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, screw-down crown, no lumination; automatic caliber CR01 movement, 4hz, +15/-10 spd, 45hrs power reserve, 4800 m/A magnetic resistance, Diashock shock absorber; 100m water resistance. Matched with a High-Intensity titanium bracelet.
A Gerald Genta design and a true “if you know you know” watch. Credor uses a pedestrian CR01, a dressed-up Seiko calibre 6L35 movement with striping, blued screws, and gilt bridges. The movement is hidden by a closed caseback. Seiko High-Intensity Titanium is the same alloy Grand Seiko uses on the vast majority of its titanium-cased watches. The Credor Locomotive’s titanium surfaces are brushed and meticulously finished. Zaratsu polishing is applied to the bezel and lugs, producing sharp, distortion-free edges that enhance light reflection and highlight the watch's angular geometry.
