I scored 98% in grade 12th humanities with only 1 week of prep (did not study the entire year at all, did not give school preboards, did not even collect mid term results)
I started my studies 1 week before exams were about to begin, wasn't very productive unfortunately... so i covered and prepared all my syllabus in exam holidays
I'd love to answer any questions you guys might have

I know it's not great or anything but I gave this after genuinely two days of prep (PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE DO NOT DO THIS! I'VE BEEN SPEAKING, WRITING, READING ENGLISH SINCE I WAS 3, DO NOTT COMPARE YOUR SITUATION WITH MINE)

I'm really shocked tbh.. in a negative way...
speaking and writing were my best sections and I got the lowest in them

meanwhile, I thought I completely RUINED listening but got an 8?!

I gave Class 12 CBSE with Humanities (eng, painting, polsci, econ, legs) and scored 95ish percentage

but i need mathematics for some applications (they're due in november)... so I'm planning to give it through NIOS ODE.. i might also give physics

please PLEASEEEE help me understand what shall I do, if it's possible please message me personally.. I've researched about this everywhere.. youtube etc.. but I am unable to understand how ALLL of it would work

I've spent the last 4 days curating my justifications because it is such a tiring process! I finally submitted my answers at 2pm today afternoon rechecking THRICE!!!!! to make sure that there was NOO mistake anywhere... Finally made the payment at 5pm... and now I get THIS.
NONEEE of my answers make any sense because of this glitchy language that's present everywhere and I know it's not from my side because I wrote everything wonderfully and TRIPLE CHECKED
they've taken 450 rupees from me to send these useless justifications to teachers and I'm HELPLESS
what do I even do.
I am genuinely lost! cbse you've won man!! you've managed to completely break my spirit in the last month!

heyy I'll be applying this year to unis and I was brainstorming about essays these past few days.. What I've heard is admissions officers really dislike it when you trauma dump.. and from what I've seen they're usually always going for 'quirky unique' essays.. essays on some really small part of a kid's life.. or essays that use obscure metaphors..
I come from REALLY shitty conditions and I'm international, most 'really bad' things that could ever happen to a person have happened to me (oh and im def gonna need near full fin aid)
whenever I start tryna write essays it just ends up sounding like I'm crying writing this shit.. genuinely sounds so bad and I'm not even going out of my way to make it sound like that.. I'm not writing it in an 'emotional' way.. I'm just writing things and showing how those experiences have shaped me..
but because they come off as 'trauma-dumping'.. I'm trying to write essays on small quirky unique things.. and they come off as SOOO FAKEEE.. like that's not my voice at all, I do not care about those things... If I don't write about what's happened to me.. all my motivations are left unexplained....
is someone going through this too 😭😭😭
