Blooms upon blooms!!
My Hoya memoria is my most prolific bloomer at the moment she’s really doing her thing I’ve got other Hoyas that are just throwing out peduncles and doing nothing and a mathilde that is budding up for the first time!!

So I’m a 21-year-old. I vape (I’m trying to quit) and smoke MJ occasionally. Recently, I’ve been having a long list of things going on with my body. The main issue worrying me is my teeth.
It started as a gum flap that turned into tonsillitis, which I’m taking antibiotics for. But my gums are getting much worse. I’ve booked an emergency dentist appointment for tomorrow. I’m scared of what they might say.
To soothe the gum flap, I’ve been using Corsodyl and Difflam for the sore throat. Maybe using them together was too harsh on my gums, I don’t know. But I’m worried that my gums are just withering away. This is the first time I’ve ever gone through this before.
Just wanted to show off my krohnianas growth so far
She’s sun stressing!! I love how her little splashes are turning pink and her margin has gotten really dark she’s also pushing out multiple growth points she’s literally competing with my mathilde!!
This girl has been pushing out new growth also root growth has been amazing can’t wait for her to trail!! Now I need the all green version too
My Hoya obovata has finally started vining off and growing more leaves since I got her she had only put out 3 and that was almost a year ago I’m really excited to see her carrying on growing!!
She’s stunning!! A little bit concerned because her new leaves are very pale green though 😅
Honestly, the growth this girl has put out since I got her has been amazing!
I genuinely can't wait to see what she looks like by the end of the year if she keeps growing at this pace. One of my favourite things about her has to be the new growth it comes in this gorgeous deep burgundy colour before maturing, and I'm absolutely obsessed.
I’m ridiculously excited about this. She’s definitely not the fastest grower in my collection, but she’s actually growing much quicker than I expected her to when I first got her. There's just something so satisfying about spotting fresh growth points and watching new leaves unfurl. Now begins the daily ritual of inspecting the same leaves 20 times a day to see if they've grown another millimetre.
My Hoya Kerrii has just pushed out its first ever peduncle and I'm ridiculously excited!
It's been growing pretty slowly lately and hasn't put out any new leaves, so I'm wondering if it's diverting all its energy into blooming instead. I have no idea if that's actually what's happening, but that's the story I'm telling myself. 😂
Now I'm crossing my fingers that by August I'll be seeing some flowers. Part of me is worried the blooms might be a little lacklustre since it's the plant's first time flowering, but hopefully it'll surprise me.
Either way, I'm just thrilled to finally have a peduncle. Every Hoya grower knows that's the moment you start checking the plant approximately 47 times a day!
Got this Erythrina in a propagation pot of Hoyas and had no clue what it was, but I’m obsessed with the leaves. They give off major Jurassic Park vibes.
I’m currently blasting it with a mix of sunlight and a grow light because I need that gorgeous purple/red sun stress on the leaves. We are aiming for “slightly prehistoric, slightly sunburnt” aesthetics.
Also, she has two growth points, which has made me disproportionately happy. 😂
Slowly building up a collection as I go Facebook sellers have been a great gateway for that!! I recently got a Hoya Black margin and a villosa/globulosa? Super happy can’t wait till they put out new growth!!
Just wandered in the kitchen for some brekkie and spotted her blooms are finally opening!!
I already had a baby plant at home that’s absolutely blasted with growth, so I said to myself, “I am NOT going to the shop to buy a plant I already own.”
…Anyway, the second I saw her, all logic evaporated and suddenly she was coming home with me 🤡
They also had a plain Australis there, but she was WAY too pricey for me, so I practiced something called “self-control” for once.
ALSO!! my new Mathilde has a peduncle!!!✨She hasn’t even unpacked her bags yet and she’s already thinking about motherhood.
One of my favourite Hoyas literally got me into variegated Hoyas in the first place, Now I’ve got a whole wishlist full of them! 😂
I bought this little plant after I sadly killed my first one last year 🥲 I just couldn’t live without her in my collection again. Then, after ordering her online, I found this bigger one in my local Squires for less… mind you 😭💀
Honestly, I really need to teach myself patience when it comes to plants because why am I like this? 😂
