The truth about the False Villain:

The truth about the False Villain:

To simply put into words, Lui isn’t a villain whatsoever ever. And so is Rashad.

Now this might sound crazy but u actually have to use ur brain and eyes to simply understand.
Lui has no ambition or villainous qualities.

- First to take into consideration all of the REAL villains we’ve seen either had an ambition or some form of qualities that made them a villain. Like Lean had a massive Ego & it was controlling him completely. He had the Ambition of destroying everyone and overall just a broken villain more than pure evil. Another character, is Phi. Who was pure evil and I think we can all agree had all the right qualities of being a villain. At first he was nice & as time went on he showed his true colors. And completely destroyed everything and everyone in his way (or tried)

- Lui on the other hand has none of these qualities. Yes he had a big ego but everytime he used it, he was always overpowered (not beaten, but was definitely weaker than his opponents). He suffers from having any ambitions as a villain or any type of villainous trains as a character (Design wise sure, he could look intimidating, & sometimes sound villainous, etc). The other antagonist take there Ego to a different lvl & actually sought to destroy, as Lui just seeks victory, & even after he is beaten by bladers in the series he keeps that same Ego, except he’s a lot more mature about it in other seasons. Yes other Villains also do that except Lui has a certain ego that doesn’t required any type of “I plan on destroying u no matter the cost” type.

- Lui’s ego is primarily shown as the typical humans Ego. “I’m better than you and I know I am” type of mentality he carries throughout the show. And continued that from S1-6. The typical Villain we are use too has the mentality of ima going to destroy u so I can take over the blading world or something around those lines. Which Lui just strives to be the strongest, & has no destructive power or force.

The Truth about the most Underappreciated Protagonist:

*This is my second time writing this, sadly it all got deleted when I was switching apps on my phone so.. here we go again*

-Drum/Dante is the Main Protagonist of Beyblade Burst GT/Rise. He possesses great power & owns Ace/Grand/Rock Dragon, Imperial Dragon, & Tempest Dragon. (THERE IS ALSO GATLING DRAGON BUT I DONT COUNT QUADSTRIKE AS A CANON SEASON AT ALL). By the end of the show he is Ranked No. 6 in the verse and has feats that could potentially put him higher than that (No. 4-5).

———

1. Growth & Powerscaling:

-By midway (Ep. 26) through GT Drum is compared to be around the same lvl and power as the world champion, Aiga/Aiger. In the battle he showed to be a formidable opponent for Aiga sadly losing (2-3) but still as an “Upcoming” blader by this point in the show he’s already shown enough that could put him on an even higher scaling. Before this battle he’s already shown to have beaten 2/3 of the GT 3 (Risen 3). Which is a title given to the Top 3 bladers in Japan (A National Title, just like The Supreme 4). He had already obtained Gold Turbo/Hyper Flux by this point in the story which we’ve seen him struggle to obtain a lot before this segment. Which is a power that can only be obtained when both the Blader & Bey have completely become in sync with each other. This also buffs the speed & power of a Beyblade (temporarily). Which also means that a lot of his training paid off & his bond kept getting stronger with dragon as the story progressed.

-All though Drum hasn’t had the same luxury of being in a lot of tournaments like his superiors, he has won the Bey Carnival & defeating a formidable opponent in Lodin (The Owner of Zwei Longinus). Who lost (2-3), and yet we seen Drum defeat him using Gold Turbo. Which i just explained is only obtainable when a blader & Beyblade have completely become in sync with each-other. This means by Episode 7-10 he has fully unlocked & become in sync with Dragon. Showing his exponential growth as not only a Blader but as a character as well. This also shows his wins aren’t from “Plot Armor” at all.

-After his lost to Aiga, a character by the name of Arthur appeared and interrupted the battle Aiga & Delta were having. And proceeded to destroy Aiga on national television. Showing how much stronger of an opponent this guy was. He was not only leagues above Aiga but also Drum. For someone who almost beat the World Champ at there best, just to see that same World Champion get embarrassed right in front of ur eyes to someone who just ran on stage and interrupted a battle. Drum & Delta both proposed a battle to him outside of the Arena & this was Arthur’s moment to showcase Dark Turbo in front of Drum & Delta’s eyes. As he used it against Aiga, and thus defeating him No-Diff. Now Dark Turbo is the reverted and in someway stronger version of Gold Turbo, it does the exact same thing as Gold Turbo except it can only be obtained when a character obtains DARK SYNCHRONIZATION, with there bey. In other words most likely only “Antagonist-like” characters can only obtain this form. The special part about this version of Turbo is that it actually consumes & sucks the light of Gold Turbo which means in the battle against Arthur, Drum & Delta’s Turbos were completely useless, & just fulled Prime Apocalypse. This resulted in Dragon actually being Broken & thus forcing him to create a new bey in Imperial Dragon.

-Imperial Dragon would be made thanks to the help of a character named Gwyn. Who would later on become Drums greatest Foe in the burst saga. With this new power & granted driver. Imperial Dragon was a Beyblade compacted of 2 parts (The Layer & Driver). The Ignition Driver which not only gives Dragon a boost of speed but the ability to change spin directions mid battle. An ability only given to one other Blader in the series, Gwyn. With this Bey, he was able to defeat Arthur & also was a key roll in Drums victory over Gwyn by the end of the series. Gwyn was a formidable opponent who not only CREATED his own form of Turbo (Superior Turbo). But also wielded Big Bang Genesis (1/2 of the Unburstable Beyblades). I don’t wanna make this to long and explain what an unburstable beyblade is, but it’s basically an infinitely rotating spinning beyblade than can only be bursted in one area at one specific time. At the end of the show drum actually is seen to show some form of Struggle against him. & with the help of delta and his Master Diablos he was able to upgrade his beyblade and turn it into Master Dragon a Beyblade who had the power to create Rainbow Turbo. The turbo that is only possible when the Blader and his comrades are synchronized. This turbo also was also use to take out Gwyn, an opponent so much stronger than not only Arthur, but Aiga & Delta. Even shown to be stronger than Drum with just Imperial Dragon.

-In the summary of this, before the end of GT drum already surpassed Aiga in power, and by the end exceeded that lvl by x2. And we haven’t even spoken about sparking Which a little easier to talk about. I apologize for the long summaries of characters and explanations of abilities but again like other post I have to explain this in the most complex way so people can actually grasp how strong these characters actually are being scaled to. Anyways, in sparking he is shown to have rivaled Aiga who also has grown since GT. And is still the World Champion (a title by this point in the story doesn’t really mean anything, since we’ve seen characters defeat him multiple times and scale higher than him yet never held the title at all). Aiga is ranked No. 3 legend (an International title, kept that in mind btw). In a Tag Team match, he was shown to have almost taken out Aiga, in the end he did burst but actually had everyone on the ropes thinking he could win or lose. This feat alone put him above Free & Lui, 2 Bladers ranked higher than Drum yet didn’t show a single feat that put them on the same lvl as Aiga. So yeah, that feat alone could put him higher in the legends ranking.

This post is already long enough and I can go on about this guy but I’ll stop here. And my final verdict is that by the end of Sparking Drum (No. 6) is almost if not Equal to Aiga (No. 3).

The Truth on Aiga/Aiger:

*Just stating right now NONE OF WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY IS BIAS. I am in NO way an Aiga fan and actually dislike his character a lot, but I speak up when I hear incorrect & false statements about other characters, I have never defended Aiga until today. And after debating about this with someone I can understand where & why people like Aiga yet personally as a character he’s still dislikable to me.*

———

1. The “Plot Armor” & “Nerf” complaints:

-Now me being me, I use to be one of these people who would just watch Aiga win against my favorite characters and complain about it being plot armor, or they got nerfed. Which isn’t the case at all for majority of his battles. A lot of Aiga’s wins come from pure experience & IQ. He’s shown to be an extremely talented Blader off rip, & shown tons of commitment in Cho-Z/Turbo. His wins aren’t won by plot, nor are they won by any nerf from any other character. He’s simply grown since episode 1 & forward.

-A lot of these examples show: In the Battle against Lui, in the Longinus Cup Final. Aiga was on the losing end (0-2). But in round 2 Aiga actually decides to change his Mode & his launching form, which allowed him to export a lot more speed out of Achilles than normal. He saw Lui alter his launching position right before launching and incorporated it into his own, this not only surprised Lui but the fans themselves, he came back & won round 2 (1-2). In round 3 they both simultaneously burst. & lastly in round 4 Aiga would get the burst to win after altering his driver again, both of them went on to actually equalize each other for basically the entire match. After this he actually sends Longinus in the air forcing Lui to use Bloody Squall (his signature move) & also forcing himself to attack on the spot which he does with Z Whip. Bursting Longinus also winning him the match (3-2). This match alone also explains how his development as a character grown. Now Ik I didn’t explain it while summarizing the battle. But Hae-Jin Oh (The owner of archer Hercules) himself said that Aiga didn’t copy Lui, he watched Lui alter his launching stance & applied that format of launching to his own. Allowing Aiga to find a way to try to even get equal with Lui. Let alone stronger which he does with his bond with Achilles. Because he actually took a timeout before round 4 started & phi was there to confronted him.

-Now in no way possible am I saying that he is equal to Valt at this point in the season, because right after this battle he got his ass completely handed to by Phi & Revive Pheonix (WITHOUT USING THE ARMOR AS AN OFFENSIVE MOVE). But the point I’m trying to prove is that Aiga within 1 battle showed how far he’s grown since episode 1. And that a lot of not majority of his wins aren’t just plot-armor. People keep using that word as if it’s like a character just lost because the protagonist or another character won in some miracle. In which only once can I actually think of this happening (Valt vs Zac). And Lui didn’t get nerfed either. Since he was shown to be comparable to Valt just 10-11 episodes before this. Which means that not only did Aiga also elevate but also Lui too. Lui’s strongest move isn’t Bloody Squall even tho I said it was his signature it isn’t his strongest. Everytime Lui used the move “Dragon Scream” it has either bursted or negated another attack. It has never been shown someone has survived the attack while Longinus was also actively moving.

-The entire deal is that they not only do they define that he got stronger in the match & learned from his opponents advantages but they show it too.

———

2. His MISTAKEN early Growth as a Blader.

-A lot of people actually mistaken Aiga to be some highly Plot Armor character especially early on. Except early on he is a really gifted & talented Blader. This personally is one of the reasons I actually dislike him, as we don’t see him train as much compared to the other protagonists specifically Valt (who I adore).

-By the beginning of Cho-Z/Turbo we saw him face Valt. In that battle a lot of people think that he was actually close to beating Valt which is a complete lie. Valt that match was actually on the offensive the entire match, and had Aiga in a chokehold. Aiga didn’t only copy Valts launch since it was the first battle he’s ever had. Valt was not only the champion but also trying to get use to the new Cho-Z system himself. As he’s only launched it ONCE in advance to this battle. We also seen the COMPLETELY new power it possessed. As it literally blew the roof off of the building. Also Winning Valkyrie was pretty unbalanced for majority of this battle.

-Again getting back to the point, Aiga would end up losing this battle 0-2. And he went off to go to BC Sol. Now not only does Aiga have the same launching ability as the CURRENT WORLD CHAMPION. And the guy who just Molly-Wapped him. He literally beats every single Blader at BC Sol. Off rip showing his early talent and that he could blade at a high lvl even as a rookie. Defeating an entire club, as a rookie isn’t an easy thing to do at all. Especially if u just had ur first battle days before this.

-Your never proving an actual argument where Aiga had a moment where his Talent isn’t Justified, because since the first episode he was introduced we seen he had this form of talent & commitment towards blading as a whole.

The Truth about Powerscaling God/Evo characters:

In Beyblade Burst God/Evolution:

-Valt & Shu are leagues above of Free.

-Valt vs Free: in there battle it ended in a DNF & Free having to forfeit due to his health and limitations on his body. He was up 1 point & the game was 2-1 Free. But the truth behind this is much different than people think.

Valt was using his normal Launch. Free on the other hand was using his Vein form (His peak at the time), & Fafnir was so strong & durable no Beyblade could move it from the center of the stadium. It didn’t even budge when the Nothing driver/tip was getting pushed down & stirring up a Nothing Break. While on the other hand Valt isn’t even using his strongest launch (Sprint Boost/Aerial Boost). Valt wasn’t using his full power while even in his base form he was able to not only equalize free’s MAX power but also overpower that the next round later.

This would bring me to my next statement Free vs Shu. This is easy to decipher with the info given above. Valt USING Sprint Boost & pushing HIMSELF & Shu to the max Shu would not only draw against this Valt for about 15+ Rounds, thus making him equal to not only Valt at FULL power but also WAY stronger than Free.

-Lui vs Shu/Free: Lui was able to be the FIRST of 2 people to burst Spriggan Requiem & got 2-3 against Shu in the Semi-Finals. BUT he did lose in a “Breaking Finish” (Def: When a battle ends in another one breaking). But he got 3-1 against full power Free meaning he would mean he is below free by a major margin. Mind u this was the first time free even used this form in the anime. Not only that this is an imperfect version (Cho-Z/Turbo is the perfected version/Free Prime). This would put him behind Free & Shu by a LONG SHOT.

Simply the order these characters would be in are pretty obvious but I explained this a lot more deeper than it already is:

1. Valt || 2. Shu || 3. Free|| 4. Lui

- Before going on a rant I wanna make this super clear and say that the only thing that don’t connect the game and anime are numbers. Statistical numbers from the game don’t equal in the anime. For example someone like Pikachu & his speed stat is 90. That has no correlation to the anime what so ever. Another example is how much damage moves do. Like Greninja’s water shuriken only do 15 damage. Yet we know in the anime that they do much more.

Meaning of Defensive & Offensive stat in the anime:

- Being able to live attacks & ur durability in the match alone. Personally the best example of this is Infernape against Paul, how he lived not only Physical & Special moves, but also Recoil, Poison, & Paralysis. That is a Defensive and durability feat imo.

- Special Attack & Physical Attack still amount to stuff in the anime. Even it isn’t shown very well it still is taken into accountability that there is still a difference between the 2. Eve tho it isn’t a major difference it’s still a difference to look at.

Abilities in the anime:

- This one is pretty much extremely understandable and this only applies to Infernape mainly. Abilities in the anime are shown to have affection in battle. Like Blaze & Overgrow. But battle bond also has its perks & Flaws. Battle bond in the game Raises ONLY OFFENSIVE STATS (Attack, Special Attack & Speed). Thus not raising any Defensive stats or anything at that much. This applies to the anime as the Blaze & Overgrow abilities apply the same so should battle bond. Against Alain he lost him in 3 hits. Thus also showing his defensive abilities haven’t raised at all knowing that “Mega” Evolution raises a Pokémon’s stat significantly. Not all stats but certain stats get raised so, I hope people take this into consideration that, Mega Evolution, & Abilities do change a Pokémon’s durability/Defense and offensive powers in a battle (in the anime).
