What are your thoughts on milestones changing to every 100 for 5k starting in September?

Also parkrun will be selling merchandise for the challenges.
Junior milestones also changing from July.

Battery life

Hi, I’m thinking of getting the Action 6 for running. Is there somewhere a full breakdown of battery life specs or real world tests at the different quality levels?
I have seen reports of what it can do at 4k and 1080p. It’s in between I’m really interested in to see if it will last for?

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure in doing the relatively new Victoria Embankment parkrun. This video shows you the full course along with everything you need to know.

Hi. Had my first fail with the Go Ultra at the weekend while recording my 10k race.

In all practice runs I select the preset I have created (1080p and others to maximise battery life) turn off the camera remove the standalone and then start the standalone when I begin my run. In testing I had achieved 62 minutes.

For some reason this time it altered the preset and only recorded 35 minutes of my 58 minute race!!

How should I select settings and remove the camera. It could be 10-20 minutes before my races starts and I don't like carrying the action pod around with me?

For anyone ready to go beyond parkrun — or even take their very first steps into running — this one’s for you.
Follow my journey as I take on my biggest challenge yet: the Thames Path 50k.
Alongside my full course POV videos, I'll provide, regular training updates, and honest insights into what I learn along the way — both physically and mentally — and what it really takes to go the distance.

This is how I title my videos:

Alderford Lake parkrun - Event #242 18/04/2026

Should I alter it?

Alderford Lake POV

Add the event number and date to the thumbnail and description?

What I want is people to search parkrun or specifically Alderdord Lake parkrun and see my video.

How would you go about this?

My videos are POV of the whole parkrun with full stats and elevation/course profiles. I have started adding in commentary and will begin adding in intro/outro pieces to camera.
