Tips for a beginner

I failed my CBT yesterday at section 3 where I wasn't allowed to move on to the road ride, only 2 of the 6 went on the road ride.

I didnt crash or drop the bike or anything but apparantly I wasnt allowed to move on because I wasn't smooth with the slow speed manoeuvring and stalled a little too often.

Do you guys have any advice as to how to stop stalling and be a little more smooth?

Nothing against the instructor btw he was very nice, patient and helpful.

CBT Boot okay or not stress?

I've read the zero to hero, but do have a specific question RE whether my boots would be considered okay?

They just about cover my actual ankle but the website says they need ankle support and I'm not 100 percent sure they do? Will I be alright or should I go buy some bigger ones that go further up?

Thanks all
