psychologist or psychiatrist? Or an adult behavioral specialist?

I’m trying to seek help for some issues and symptoms I have had for a while. I’m not looking to get medicated, but to explore talk therapy options instead. Since psychologists can diagnose, should I seek one out instead of a psychiatrist? My main concern is to get a neuropsychological assessment, or get a screening for a suspected neurodevelopmental disorder.

A lot of my symptoms do match common adhd symptoms, but I don’t know for sure and I don’t want to speculate. I just need a licensed person to tell me if it’s worth pursuing a formal diagnosis or I’m just making things up. I don’t have the money to spend on consultations, evaluations, assessments, and several mental health professionals, only to end up getting referred to someone else anyway. Due to money constraints I can’t afford the trial and error unfortunately.

I’m worried I won’t be taken seriously since I’m female and an adult. I’ve tried going to a psychiatrist at a public hospital before but my request for a screening was denied and that experience definitely left a bad impression because I didn’t try to get a 2nd opinion for years. This is only my 2nd attempt at sorting out my mental health.

I desire the full battery test but can’t afford it, sadly. But even if I had the financial capability, I would prefer to get a screening anyway since it’s a lot of money we’re talking about.

Also, please recommend someone if you’ve been in the same boat.

Edit: typo

Adults with adhd, autism or both - diagnosis without advocate?

Possible ba mag push ng diagnosis without parents or siblings to advocate for you locally? I don’t want my parents to be involved for personal reasons, and my sibling is too young. Don’t want any of my peers to know either. So possible ba? And can you recommend psychologists sa nowserving (or those who have teleconsults) that are experienced in adult neurodevelopmental disorders? Yung hindi sana nag rerequire ng advocate din.

I’ve been thinking about going to safespace.sg for a foreign psychiatrist din but maybe there’s better options locally.

Full battery assessment / neuropsychological evaluation for adult

Where to get full battery test or neuropsychological evaluation for a suspected neurodevelopmental disorder for adults? And how much? I tried looking but I don’t think this has been asked in this sub yet.

Inverted asexual flag during parade, did I screw up?

My town held a small pride parade (couple hundred people at most) and I went. I was so excited as it was my first one. I never went to any events during pride month despite realizing I was ace a couple years ago.

I made a last minute outfit and some signboards and realized I didn’t have an asexual flag. My printer didn’t have ink so I couldn’t print one out, I was running late and lowkey stressed so I decided to DIY it using stuff I already had.

After the event, I went home, looked at the photos from the day and realized the flag I made out of construction paper was upside down.

I feel so stupid, and I was waving it proudly too. Is it disrespectful? If you see an upside down flag out in the wild would you notice it? I definitely notice ace pins and flags but it’s mostly the colors that stand out to me.

Is this just a regular magnetic rock?

Found buried 5-6 feet underground. My palm isn’t very big but it’s around palm sized. It weighs around 300 grams.
