Looking to buy a guitar using Klarna at 21.9% interest. If I pay it all over within a month, will I save significantly on interest?
Reason being is I have a guitar of equal value which I need maybe a month to sell on.

Both £3000 a piece. Wider nut on the D18
Any options on the aftermarket that can drop in with little to no modification? The tuners on that model are balls.
I hear horror stories that these necks, due to lack of truss rod has a very limited shelf life. I am wondering to sell up now and buy one with a truss rod
I’m looking to upgrade my Goodtime Americana with a no knot tailpiece and either Aquila reds or standard nylgut strings along with a Clifford Essex clawhammer bridge with a raised piece for the 5th string.
Before I go ahead and cause myself massive frustration, am I liable to break a string using nylgut if I tune up to sawmill or other tunings?
Sorry if this question is as old as time. Love old time banjo sound and doing my best as a novice to achieve it.
My Deering has plain 3rd string but wound 4th. I’ve read a wound 3rd and 4th is a bit more warm and traditional sounding?
Can any recommend these for frailing or will it make no different to just go for a standard set with a plain 3rd?
Feels like I keep having to hold the banjo up in my lap so a strap feels necessary.
I’m UK based and want a fairly nice and durable one.
I bought a Pinegrove leather one for my mandolin and liked it.
Has anyone had experience with these or can recommend any other type of decent, durable strap?
Any benefits over a good old Shubb?
I assume they don’t move to an angle so much if your hand bumps into them?
Hard to get any concrete reviews online and where I’m based, they seem hard to find.
I’ve had them on my electric guitar and the quality was good.
Are they noted for being decent?
I want to learn Clawhammer coming from a guitar background but I’m not sure of the need of a decent banjo for particular styles.
I can see there are some strings that are dedicated to clawhammer and some more generic
Any help would be great
I have only had the chance to play the full fat USA made Country Boy D which was awesome but wonder how the TS holds up? I know it is made over the seas in China but very, very well spec’d.
Still not cheap.
Anyone with any experience with these?
I use them often on my guitar and like them but is this brand reliable and decent for mandolin?
Absolutely understand that is opinion based, but I’m wanting to change up from PB’s and go for a more subdued, less sparkly sound.
Vintage tone for lack of a better term.
Has anyone any words on advantages on either string type on a white brash, new Adi top? The guitar I play is a Gibson CS Banner 1942 LG-2
Sorry if this been glossed over before. Am new to the sub, but I’ve been playing mandolin for a bit and quite fancy an upgrade from my MD315 with an Adi top.
The 515 is quite an up charge and just has a generic spruce top (I think german?)
Just wondered if it was worth the extra money if I decided to upgrade?
Cheers!
I see a lot of their higher end models like the MD815 use a Truetone varnish, but I’ve seen a few where it’s reported they use nitro?
Maybe this is nonsense but I thought the use of nitro was banned on Chinese made instruments?
