I probably won't be launching my business for a while, but I've come up with a business name that I'd really like to keep.

Is it possible to form an LLC now mainly to secure the name, even if I don't plan to start operating right away? I wouldn't have any customers, revenue, or business activity for the time being.

If that's an option, are there any downsides to doing it early, such as ongoing fees, annual filings, or tax requirements? Or is there a better way to reserve a business name until I'm ready to launch?

I’m trying to decide between Frappe CRM vs Salesforce and would love to hear from people who’ve actually used one or both.

From what I’ve seen, Frappe CRM looks appealing because it’s open source, flexible, and potentially much more affordable. Salesforce, on the other hand, seems to offer a far more mature ecosystem with advanced automation, reporting, integrations, and enterprise-level features.

My main priorities are ease of implementation, customization, scalability, and keeping long-term costs under control. I’m also curious about how much technical knowledge is needed to get the most out of each platform.
