Do I really need to remove my wisdom teeth before getting a dental implant?
Hi, should I have my wisdom teeth removed? At the hospital, I was told that since they are not causing me any pain, there is no need to remove them - especially if I replace the missing tooth with an implant. They also said that the lower wisdom tooth on the other side is apparently fused with the jawbone and will not erupt.
However, implant clinics are telling me that I should remove all of my wisdom teeth.
Also, will I need a bone graft before getting the implant? Everyone seems to give me a different answer - some say yes, others say no.
