I’ve been missing the “package” preference for months now in my preferences selector. I have delivery, pack & pay, and teen requests but not packages.

I’ve been back and forth with support for months, as missing packages can also hinder my earnings but keep getting the same generic response.

Today, it seems i don’t meet the “new” eligibility criteria? How?

To be eligible I apparently have to complete 2 package deliveries every 365 days + satisfaction rate (which is no issue). How am I meant to complete package deliveries when the option doesn’t exist.. 😂

Been driving for 8 months, previously had the option until I changed to an EV then it disappeared. Useless support honestly

Hi all, wondering if any other BYD Seal owners have experienced something similar.

I have a BYD Seal Premium that is less than four months old, and I’ve been dealing with a strange intermittent braking/electronic fault that seems to be getting progressively easier to trigger.

When it occurs, the dash basically lights up like a Christmas tree with warnings including:

• Electronic Parking Brake / EPB fault
• ABS fault
• Traction / stability control unavailable
• ADAS systems unavailable
• Regenerative braking disabled

The car itself continues to drive and the normal friction brakes still work, but obviously having multiple braking and stability systems unavailable is concerning.

The fault appears randomly and I haven’t found a way to reliably reproduce it. However, there does seem to be a fairly strong relationship with warmer weather and potentially road surface temperature.

So far, I seem to experience it predominantly on sunny days where the ambient temperature is around 22°C or higher. Given these are generally clear, sunny days, the actual road surface would be considerably warmer than the reported ambient temperature.

On cooler, overcast or rainy days, the issue either doesn’t occur or is significantly harder to reproduce. As the temperature and road conditions cool down, the faults also seem to disappear.

Originally, I noticed it more often while accelerating through a left-hand turn. More recently, however, it has also happened while accelerating in a straight line, and sometimes there doesn’t appear to be any obvious trigger at all.

Another particularly strange behaviour I’ve noticed is that when all of the warnings are active, turning the steering wheel to the right can sometimes make the entire collection of warnings disappear. Straightening the steering wheel again can cause them to return.

There have also been times where the warnings behave differently depending on whether the car is moving. They may disappear while stationary, remain off if I release the brake and allow the car to roll, then immediately return as soon as I press the accelerator.

Just to clarify regarding the ADAS warnings, I’m aware that ADAS systems can temporarily become unavailable due to environmental conditions, such as cold/wet weather, poor visibility or cameras/sensors being obstructed.

This isn’t what I’m experiencing.

When this issue occurs, the ADAS warnings appear at the same time as the ABS, EPB, stability/traction control and regenerative braking faults. They all appear and disappear together, which makes it seem like the ADAS failure is a consequence of whatever underlying fault is occurring.
I had a mobile mechanic scan the vehicle and they found faults relating to the front-right wheel speed sensor, with the reading reportedly showing something along the lines of an abnormal signal, as well as a fault relating to the integrated power brake module.

I am still waiting for the vehicle to actually be inspected and diagnosed by a BYD service centre, so at this stage I don’t have an official diagnosis.

This has probably been the most frustrating part of the whole situation. Despite explaining that the vehicle is less than four months old and is intermittently losing ABS, stability/traction control, regenerative braking, ADAS and reporting an EPB fault, the service centres I contacted would not squeeze the vehicle in for an earlier inspection.
I’ve instead been left waiting for an available service booking while continuing to experience what appears to be a potentially significant braking or electronic safety system fault on an almost-new vehicle.

I’ve taken videos of the warnings and I’m documenting when and how it happens so that when the vehicle is finally inspected, hopefully there is enough information to diagnose an intermittent fault even if they can’t reproduce it on the day.

At this point I’m wondering whether this could be an intermittent front-right wheel speed sensor, wiring/connector issue or sensor air gap that changes with heat, steering angle or suspension movement. The fact that steering angle, acceleration and warmer road conditions seem to influence it makes me particularly suspicious of a sensor, connector or wiring issue.

Alternatively, there could genuinely be an issue with the integrated power brake module.

Has anyone with a Seal, or another BYD model, experienced anything similar?

Particularly interested if anyone has experienced:
• Wheel speed sensor failures
• ABS/EPB faults that appear and disappear together
• Faults affected by steering angle
• Faults appearing under acceleration
• Completely intermittent/random occurrences
• Faults that predominantly appear on warmer/sunny days or when the road surface is warm
• Temperature-dependent ABS or wheel speed sensor problems
• Integrated power brake module faults

I’d be really interested to hear from anyone who has dealt with something similar, particularly what the eventual diagnosis was, what parts were replaced, and whether the problem was permanently resolved.

They thought they’d convince me with an extra $4 for a stack.. 😂

I noticed the other day that packages disappeared. Uber assured me I’m opted in for them, but I haven’t seen a single one in weeks. To me it looks like I’m not opted in for packages and gave no option to opt in.

UE/DD is more of a side hustle on top of the regular FT role to help boost the income and keep a roof over the families head. 90 ratings at 99% overall.

Since starting 3 months ago, I have made about $14k from the platforms, averaging anywhere between 20-35 hours per week. A few weeks offline due to
Illness & car issues as well.

My $/km ratio is about $1.83/km. Deductions (fuel, maintenance, insurance and rego) is about $3.5K since commencing. car unfortunately had everything happen all at once which cost about $2.5k all in..

Got a nice chunk set aside for tax as a safety net.
