Back in the earlier seasons he was usually useless too but he was able to help the boys with some objectives at least. Then somehow in season 3 he decides to work for the government in close partnership with fucking vought themselves and gets played by neuman. Just a genius move. Ever since then its gone even more downhill. He does nothing, he says nothing. All he’s there for is some soulful white boy bs. Wtf was he thinking trying to save that random woman at camp and getting mad at annie for being practical in a war against an invincible killing machine?! I mean I get that the boys wouldnt just kick him out but he serves no purpose whatsoever, he might even be ready to slow the team down and work against the common interest of humanity because he doesnt wanna lose annie even though there is billions on the line. Fucking Idiot, you had 5 seasons to figure this shit out it should be done. There should be no way either of them are still breathing. Just take the virus and kill the fucking bad guys. There should be no way hed ever be able to keep living and nor should she. But ofc both will survive. It makes no fucking sense at all. Every other Boy can help accomplish the mission but him. Even MM at least has the right mindset though he‘s practically useless in a fight as well. There couldve been impactful death scenes all over the place even last season. Its disappointing to get the stranger things treatment. Rant over
