Chicken tenders tasting great but breading is meh

I need help from the chicken tender experts because I feel like I’m missing something. 😂

How do you get those beautiful golden-brown, crispy-but-not-hard chicken tenders that you see online, where the breading looks flaky and flavorful, but the inside is still super juicy and tender?

I’ve been experimenting with mine, and sometimes the breading comes out hard. Other times it looks nicely browned, but the breading itself still tastes like flour, even though I seasoned it.

The chicken underneath has flavor because I marinate it, but the actual breading just doesn’t have that same delicious flavor.

And even when I think I’m frying at the right temperature, I still end up with chicken that is brown, but not that pretty, appetizing golden color I’m trying to achieve.

I’m not necessarily looking for a specific recipe. I’m more interested in the technique and little secrets that make a huge difference.

I’ve watched so many videos and tried different things, but mine still doesn’t look or taste like the tenders I’m trying to recreate. 😭

If you make really good chicken tenders, please share your secrets. I’m ready to take notes. 😂

26 [F4M] Looking High Value Man

The thing is, I know exactly what I want.
All my life I’ve only had five crushes. I’ve never dated because I always felt like I had something to prove to myself before entering a relationship. I wanted to establish myself first so I wouldn’t have to lower my standards, and so whatever I hope to find in a guy is something I’ve already worked on in myself.

So there’s that.

I’m getting older, and I feel like I’ve been able to do a lot of the things I set out to do. I’ve given back to my family, saved money, invested, started a business, and built a life I’m genuinely proud of.

Because of that, I think I’m more open to the idea of dating now.

The problem is, I don’t really go out. Since I know what I’m looking for and I live in a smaller city, I just haven’t met someone I genuinely connect with.
So here I am, seeing if this works. I’m not desperate though. If it happens, it happens. If I don’t meet him through this post, then I’ll probably just keep focusing on other things for the next few years unless life surprises me.

A little about me:
I’m 5’2”. I honestly cringe saying this, but people usually tell me I’m above average in terms of looks. At home though, I’m definitely just average. 😂 I have an average body, but I’m working towards getting leaner.

Personality-wise, people often think I’m intimidating because of the way I speak and my voice, but I’m actually a huge softie once you get to know me. I love listening, I enjoy good conversations, I have a lot of self-respect, and I’m a Christian, so my faith and values are a big part of who I am. I’m also financially disciplined and intentional with money.

As for what I’m looking for:
The biggest non-negotiable is that you’re a Christian. If you’re not, please don’t message me. I don’t mean that in a rude way, but it’s genuinely important to me.

Aside from that, I’d prefer someone who’s around 5’10” or taller, takes care of himself, is masculine, humble, calm, emotionally mature, has self-respect, and is financially stable. I’d also like someone who earns more than I do. I currently earn six figures, so hopefully he’s doing well in that area too.
That’s pretty much it.

I’ve posted in other groups before, and honestly, I always feel bad having to tell someone they’re not my type. You can say that to me too and that would be okay with me.

Attraction and preferences are personal, so I hope people can respect that. No hard feelings if we’re simply not a match, and I say this for myself too.
