Hi!! I recently got hired for an EMG-T position. The hospital I work for provides on the job training. I was wondering if anyone has found any free online resources to study/ learn with? I have found quite a bit of resources for performing the NCS exams, but I’m having some trouble understanding the machine and its functions and the interpretation of results. I’ll take any resources you have!!

I (23F) and this person (22M) have been seeing each other for the past month or so. We had met on tinder and hooked up twice about a year ago, they kept mentioning making me their girlfriend at the time so I had cut things off as that was not what I was looking for and they seemed to be moving very fast.

Fast forward to about 3 months ago, they texted me asking to be friends. I’m newish to the area I live in and didn’t have any other friends and figured why not, I didn’t dislike them as a person, things just didn’t seem to click well at the time but I figured it would be good just to try being social.

Things escalated the third time we hung out, they had made a move on me and they had seemed like they changed a lot and I liked them, so we hooked up. We spoke shortly afterwards and both agreed that we were not in a place for a serious relationship.

We have mostly been hooking up and going on dates, we both agreed at first it was fun getting to know each other. As time has gone on I just don’t feel as attracted to him anymore, mostly it seems like we are at two different places in life, different maturity levels, very different social lives, among other things. It also feels as though he is treating us like we are in a serious relationship, or will be in one eventually and I feel very confused as that is not what we agreed on.

I’m not sure how to end things, I feel like I’ve been kind of hot and cold with him, one week I like him and the next I don’t. I don’t want to drag him along in this and I can recognize it’s unfair to him. I do not want it to seem as though this is coming out of nowhere, last time I saw him I had said we would hang out again on one of his days off. I should have been more careful about what I said but I wasn’t sure whether or not I’d want to continue seeing him, however last time we hung out there were a few moments that solidified that I wasn’t really feeling things anymore. I’m just not sure what to say to him. I do want to be honest but I don’t want to be mean.

Tl;dr: realized I no longer like this guy I’m casually seeing and not sure how to end things with him.

He reached out to me maybe a month ago asking to be friends. I said yes, we hung out a few times, eventually ended up hooking up and have been since. We’ve seen each other a handful of times now, they’ve slept over twice. They spent the night last night, I dropped them off at work and we were supposed to have a date tonight at my place. I’m desperately needing some alone time, we’ve spent the last two full weekends together and I didn’t realize just how much I value my space. They’ve left stuff at my place in preparation for the date tonight and I have to go pick them up from work in a few hours but I do not mentally or physically have it in me to spend the rest of the weekend with them. How rude is it for me to cancel the date? How would I go about cancelling?
