Ordered a toasted bagel today and asked for butter. Apparently, the person on shift decided to aggressively mist the entire top of the bagel with their industrial butter spray.

They didn't just put it on the inside the entire top is coated in this glossy, viscous sheen. I'm sitting here looking at it, and let's be entirely honest... the visual here is highly questionable. It looks less like breakfast and more like a crime scene.

Down 60lbs in 90 days on Reta (255 -> 195). No side effects, but honestly terrified of coming off. Advice?

I’m down 60 lbs in exactly 3 months (Male 35 - SW: 255, CW: 195, GW: 180). I’ve been incredibly lucky with zero side effects, so I've kept my activity levels really high working out daily and playing baseball and hockey multiple times a week. Diet-wise, I'm hitting 150g of protein and tracking between 1,800–2,300 calories.

Here’s my mental roadblock: I always preach to people that this is "just a tool," but honestly? I love it. The energy and the total lack of food noise have been life changing, and I'm genuinely scared to come off.

For anyone further along or navigating maintenance
Do people stay on a low maintenance dose long term, or is the goal always to stop entirely?

How do you actually transition off do you taper down, space out shots, or just go cold turkey?
If you quit completely, were you able to maintain just through lifestyle and heavy exercise?
I'm thrilled with the progress, but definitely anxious about the food noise returning. Appreciate any insights!

My Experience on Reta So Far (Downside Included)🍁

32M. Started my journey on Reta 7 weeks ago and just took shot #8. Honestly, I’m loving it so far. Started at 223 lbs with a goal weight of 190 lbs. I started at 0.5mg and slowly worked my way up to 1.5mg. Taking the low and slow approach has worked really well for me.

Biggest positives so far:
Food noise is finally manageable and quiet
Energy levels feel steady and consistent throughout the day
Recovery and workouts have been feeling good
Overall mood and motivation have improved
Blood panel looks good and was checked with my doctor at the 6-week mark
I’ve been exercising every day, even if it’s just a minimum of 30 minutes on busy days. Usually mixing in:
Weights
Hockey
Baseball
Home workouts

Nutrition wise I’ve been eating around 1300–1800 calories per day and aiming for 120g–150g of protein daily.

Only downside I’ve noticed is some minor hair shedding, but otherwise the experience has been extremely positive for me.

Really happy with the progress and consistency so far. Curious how everyone else’s journey has been going.
