I've heard that This Episode Retconned the Fact that there Is a Spell to Manifest Hair into not being a thing/is difficult. But even with the Retcon it doesn't make sense in the episode itself
If Twilight was able to "Take" the Hair from a Crystal Pony and Give it to Rarity, why didn't she try to "take" a sheep's wool and put it on her Mane? I mean it makes Perfect Sense and Is Following the Retconned Rules.
