Moving away from family

I am new to reddit and joined to share this story so please excuse me if my writing is not how it should be.

I female 22 have lived with my sister who is 14 years older than me for 8 years now. I moved in with her in high school because my parents moved around a lot because of my dad's job and they did not want to keep up rooting me.

After high school I continued living with my sister as it just worked out. She had my niece and at the time I was unemployed so she asked me if I would be willing to help look after my niece when she started working again and she payed me a salary to do so.

It worked so well as I literally lived with them and had such a great bond with my niece. I've been looking after her for almost 2 years now.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 years now and he recently move 2 hours away as he got a better job and opportunity.

We agreed that I would move in with him when he's settled in and know for a fact the job is for him.

He's been working for 8 months now and we are both ready for me to move up and start my life there too.

I am ready and excited to move but I have such a strong connection with my niece that I honestly don't know how I'll be able to move away from her and not see her everyday. My mom and granny also live in the same town and I'm so used to being able to see them whenever I can.

The idea of being so far from my family makes me sad.

Then there is another problem. I honestly don't know what my sister is going to do with my niece when I move as we live in a very small town and there really aren't really many day cares. There is one proper one but it's very expensive. I honestly don't want to put my sister in a difficult position by leaving.

I have not spoken to her yet as I don't know how to approach the topic. I know her by now and she will tell me that she'll be okay even if she is not.

I feel extremely selfish for wanting to leave and I really don't know what to do.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do about my niece and if I do move how to physically deal with being so far away from my loved ones?

TL;DR

I am planning to move 2 hours away from my family to live with my boyfriend but the idea of being away from family makes sad. I also look after my niece and don't know how to leave her and who will look after he when I leave.
