Last time I tried to ride a bike it ended in a helmet getting split and a bent bike frame- how do recumbents compare when it comes to balance and coordinate issues?

● How much balance and coordination do they require to stay on?

● Do they flip/tip easily?

● Do they come with seat belts or would those be too dangerous?

● Are they safe for people with ~~~dyslexia~~~ dyspraxia or other issues impacting coordination

● Are they good for Bikejorning?

● Are they good for canine cycling?

● Can a pet basket or a screened wagon be attached?

TIFU by losing my new, mostly full, rescue inhaler- and my spares are full of mold

I have asthma. I use a rescue inhaler.

Perfectly normal.Lots of people use them.

I lost the one I had filled earlier this month. It was in one of my many pockets and when I needed it I couldn't find it. It's gone.

OK, not ideal. I get home from work and to grab one of the older ones I keep as a spare. Inspect it to make sure it's clean- and mold.

Check the other one. More mold.

Now, the thing about needing rescue inhalers is that you should never wait until you run out- so now I have two rescue inhalers I can't use with 40 doses left on each.

I know that seems wasteful but, you know, you have to make sure the new one works and this way you have enough to last you at least a few days on an older one you know works.

This saves money on ER visits.

It's not that bad yet, just some tightness- but asthma can be unpredictable and leaving it like this is dangerous.

I've already put in for a refill through Walmart pharmacy and put it in for express, so it should be ready by noon. Probably earlier - my local pharmacy is good about filling inhalers promptly.

TL;DR: Lost my new, mostly full rescue inhaler. It had 180 doses left. Went to use my backups and they all have mold.

Custom tank build advice?

I'm getting my own place soon and want to get a better setup for my gerbil, but I won't have much space. It's a small studio.

I'm thinking I take tempered glass panels that go up to my hip and make something tall with a smaller footprint- maybe eighty gallon volume- and incorporate layers using tempered glass so he can tunnel and still have enrichment?

My main worry would be airflow- I can't do a traditional topper because I have two cats and a jack Russel.

If I do a dense metal mesh top like a traditional tank lid can I hook up a small fan going straight down into the enclosure if I layer it in such a way he can access everything he needs and I still have a straight shot down to the bedding to make up for a lack of ventilation?

Boss said we're not allowed to discuss waged- and implied it's a fireable offense

Location: Mississippi

I am an assistant manager. My role is identical to that of our cashiers with three exceptions: I have the safe code, the alarm code, and can be left unattended without my boss getting in trouble.

All my other job related tasks (stocking, recovery, cleaning, register) remain the same. The only tasks that are different is counting the deposit+safe and turning the alarm on/off.

I recently got in trouble with my manager over discussing pay with a new hire - he wanted to know how much the pay was so I told him how much I made and he reacted... poorly to how low it was. I suspect he's either making significantly more than me or they lied to him about starting pay.

He is another ASM.

I was under the impression that discussing wakes was covered under the NRLA and protected by federal law but my manager very heavily implied that I would be fired if it continued?

I suspect she is hoping I don't know the law or will roll over in regards to my rights- she thinks I'm passive because I pick my fights and won't impose unlawful requirements on cashiers even if she tells me to. Stuff like *No, I'm not making them go to the ATM if their till is short.* and *My cashier wears what he says is religious imagery. It's not a hate symbol so I'm not going to fight him over it when I wouldn't fight someone with a cross over similar, even if I personally think he's making up shit because he's madder than a bag of cats*.

Was I misinformed of the NRLA? What are my next steps? I am not overly worried about getting fired- she relies on me too much and I'm moving soon and will need a new job soon anyway- but I don't want this to just keep being the status quo

[US] Is their a real estate scam that involves dragging stuff out as much as possible?

So I'm selling the house I inherited from my mother because I can't afford upkeep.

So far the buyers have delayed closing as much as possible, sent the closing paperwork piecemeal, and have now sent the check with the wrong name.

They also insist on using check instead of wire transfer for some reason?

This feels scammy but I don't know enough about real estate and scams to know whether it is or now. Like is this normal or???

I'm using a real estate agent and the other people are using a real estate agent and a lawyer?

#Donate#BloodForTheBloodGod

I think it would serve a great deal of good if we could get the hashtags #Donate#BloodForTheBloodGod trending on all social media from now until July 4th.

Not only what it encourage people to donate blood and thereby fake life it would make people talk about technoblade again. It's time techno hits 25 mill.

If even half as the current subscribers are eligible to donate and willing that would be over 21 million donations.

Each blood donation can save up to three lives- that would mean if he then just half of us donate that would be 63 million people whose lives could potentially be saved.

Let's get donating and let's get trending

Iz advair supposed to make you pop up this much flem and fill short of breath

28F, asthma.

I was prescribed advair diskus and got the generic from walmart. I took my first dose today. Is it normal to cough up a lot of phlegm after into feel like short of breath even if you no longer feel like you've been kicked in the chest by a horse?

I've already taken my rescue inhaler. There is so much phlegm.

New phones alarm is so quiet I'm sleeping through it how do I fix it

I've missed two very important doctors appointments because of it (I'm currently down to one hand and the other has lost significant mobility). My phone (Moto g play 2025) says they went off and got ignored. They're on max volume. I had the same model phone before this and worked just fine and were plenty loud on it before I bricked it.

Is their a setting somewhere I can't find that impacts how loud the max volume is?
